Fabulous quality, very well made heavy light fixture. The issue for me was that my light connection was up too high on my wall, and therefore, all I could see were the light bulbs underneath. I wish that it worked for me, because it looks like a work of art, very high quality, and that is hard to come by in todays world. To repeat, very sturdy well made high quality item! I wish I could upload an image. I would definitely buy the Varaluz brand again!

Very "antiqued" metal finish
It's a beautiful lamp, but make sure to take a look at the magnified photo closely. The metal finish is splotched to make it look antiqued. The base metal color is like a light gunmetal grey, and there are splotches of bright nickel all over, as if to make it look like the metal is flaking. Nice effect, but you need to consider whether this goes with the other metal effects in your room.
