Very comfortable.
The first one lasted for about five years and multiple washes. It is so comfortable we repurchased again. Quality product.

Well-made and maintains loft very well
I bought this in 2019 when they were still US made and was pleased with the quality and workmanship and performance. I used it for 3 years and bought a different one that went 'flat'. I pulled this one out, washed it and tumble dried it to fluff it and it was nearly good as new. I haven't tried on of the China made ones but would be willing to try one of the new ones. I like the top cover material and the way the filling material doesn't seem to take a set and flatten out. Most of these toppers don't have engineered fill and just use generic poly fill that never bounces back. That's what I just got rid off.

Already impressed!
****UPDATE - I liked this mattress pad so much I ordered a second one for our camper mattress!!*****************I just received this yesterday and opened it tonight so I could wash it before putting it on my bed.First, let me say that last summer I paid the same price for a mattress pad for our camper bed that was supposed to be all thick and cushy and even after I removed it from the vacuum sealed bag, washed and fluffed it in the dryer, I couldn't tell it was even there. But this mattress pad is supposed to be the same one used at the Marriott hotels and after living in one for over a month and a half a few years ago when our house flooded, I got a little spoiled. So when this popped up when I was searching online the other night to find out what mattresses the various luxury hotels use, I couldn't resist! So, I received this one in a vacuum sealed plastic bag and was surprised at how thick it still was. Thought maybe they didn't suck as much air out before shipping as the other brand I bought last summer. Cut the bag open and the thing started getting bigger! I could barely get it out of the bag! So I'm standing in my laundry room, debating if I should wash this thing or not because I'm not sure it'll fit in my washing machine... the super capacity machine that is supposed to be able to handle an entire king sized bedding set and comforter! I opted against washing and decided I'll lay it out to air out over night (it has the same smell as any new item... nothing offensive just nothing I want to put on my bed RIGHT before I crawl into it.)So I laid it out to air out and really check this thing out. It's like a mattress topper... very well made. The material for the side reminds me of the underwear you get at the hospital after you have a baby (those amazingly comfortable ones that are so ugly but you don't care cause they are so comfortable and you wish you could take a bunch home with you...)The pad itself is about 1.5 inches thick (again, I didn't fluff it in the dryer or anything). The filling inside is solid... not wimpy, non- existent stuff like the mattress pad I bought last summer. It's like my grandma made a heavy quilt for an Alaskan winter into a "mattress pad". I seriously cannot wait to be able to actually use this! I will update once I do...A few other side notes that I want to mention... made in the USA by a "hometown" company (turns out this was made where my cousins live). Veteran owned and gives back to the community... just icing on the cake! Wish I'd realized they made mattresses before purchasing the one I did earlier this week!

Thick and soft. Not thin like a lot of them.
Wonderful. Thick mattress cover and soft. I really like it.

nice!
This is my second mattress pad. My pillow-top mattress is about six years old and starting to feel its age, so I thought if I got a mattress pad with some padding to it, I could add a few more years of life to it.The first mattress pad I got was a super thick down pad that went on top of the mattress, and it was great until about a week or two in, when all the down moved to one side and continued to migrate all over the place- always exactly where my body was not. After washing it a few times (it was supposed to be washer-safe), the down ended up clumped up in corners and we just gave up on it.This mattress pad is EONS better. While not nearly as padded, it's about the same padding "strength" as the pillow top on the Serta mattress it covers. The top is completely quilted (I guess that's the right word for it?) so that the padding is evenly distributed. I washed the cover immediately after receiving it and it came out of the washer/dryer perfectly- no migration of any padding. The mattress cover was super easy to put on the mattress. I usually have to ask my husband to help with stuff like that since the mattress is a king sized and getting all the corners to stay put is a pain in the butt, but I was able to throw this cover on and get it securely around all four corners with ease. The elastic skirt is a perfect fit for my extra-deep pillow top, as well. The only thing that might be an issue is that I have found myself getting *really* hot at night while sleeping. I don't know if it's some sort of health thing or what, but I'm going to keep track of it and if I do find it's associated with this cover, I'll post an update. But even if I have to wind up putting two fitted sheets over it to keep cool, I will do whatever it takes because this mattress pad is *that* nice and comfy.

Just ok
They took a piece of foam and quilted it into a cotton cover. It takes a couple of days for it to "fluff" out. You cannot wash it in a machine with a center agitator, means a trip to the laundromat. It is not a "cooling" mattress pad, at all. I have to adjust it to the mattress when I make the bed, it moves around. If you don't tighten it to the mattress when changing the sheets, it gets lumpy. I've gotten used to it, so I don't really find it uncomfortable. For the amount of money, I honestly had higher expectations. I would have sent it back, there just wasn't any sensible way to do it once out of the package.
