Awesome idea to have such setup for home studio, for product photography. It is large enough to accommodate different sizes of items . I really like all part of this product. When My Studio was received one of the light was broken, so I called Mr. Sean and in no time I have a new light set at home. Not only that he also provided me with other lamp that I can use as an assistant light no cost to me.He was very polite and friendly during telephone the conversation, very proffesinal and help me with some tips regarding postproscesing. Technical suppor awesome will recomend the My Studio VS36 to all products photograpers. Tank you

This is a fantastic studio. I have the lights mounted from the ceiling too which make it even more convenient for me. The bounce cards however are very poor quality. I have had many from MyStudio over the years and the sticky stuff never lasts that holds the brackets on.

I had apparently too high of hopes for this unit. The company has requested an honest review. In no way is my review to be taken in a context of me being mad or upset, it will just be candid. The initial issue actually has nothing to do with this manufacturer. It was delivered at day late. Amazon is usually amazing, this just was a bad day I suppose. The VS36… The unit's packaging was OK, I believe for close to $500 a better packaging design seems warranted. The unit came damaged, the light reflector itself was bent inside of the protective cardboard tube. The powder coating was cracked and flaked off in one location, not a big piece, smaller than a dime but still defective. The assembly itself was somewhat of a disappointment, I had to use large pony clamps to secure the footing to the table, without the assembly's leg structure would not stay stable. Lower lateral support across the individual pieces would possibly help. The light quality and quantity wasn't what I needed. Maybe it's just me… I wish it had been the unit I needed.

Having built and managed large creative teams including in-house studio photography and video teams, I can get rather specific on the needs I want with a portable studio as I researched the MyStudio VS36 for my wife’s design studio. This product left me quite pleased. First, sturdy packaging assured the product arrived safely and an online YouTube video guided the installation process making set-up much easier. Make sure you have the table space available (about 6-feet wide by 4-feet deep) and this will go even better for you. My initial test shots showed promise and then turned out much better when I used the two optional AL1 Accent Lights.
