GHOST Hybrid 3 Pack Kit Magazine Pouch for Double Stack Magazines

I'm not a master class shooter and it isn't even close. I don't plan on receiving any invitations to nationals this year. In fact, I will probably only shoot in about a half dozen local matches over the course of the next year. So, when it was time to replace my mag pouches I wanted something that was reliable, functional, competitive, and affordable.There were several options that I considered before purchasing the Ghost Hybrid 3 Pack.#1. Ghost Hybrid 3 Pack - $18 each ($55 for 3)#2. Ghost 360 - $26 each ($78 for 3)#3. Double Alpha Racers - $33 each ($99 for 3)The primary difference between the Ghost Hybrid and Ghost 360 design is the added magazine retention adjustment and "bullets out" option. If you plan to shoot bullets out then the Ghost 360s are the obvious choice between the two. The adjustability for magazine retention is a nice luxury to have. I can honestly see why Ghost decided to make this improvement. When I first set up the pouches on my belt I thought the magazines wobbled a little too much forwards and backward. I was worried that they could possibly fall out during an intense stage. To my relief, it hasn't been an issue at all. In my opinion, the upgraded Ghost 360 retention adjustment offers peace of mind but won't offer much more than that unless you run unusually shaped magazines. I kept about $25 in my pocket by going with the Hybrid Ghost Pouches over the Ghost 360s.The comparison between the Ghost Hybrid and DAA Racers is more substantive. Double Alpha Racers seem to be the gold standard at the moment. They have a wheel to adjust retention and leave very little room for wobble. The mounting system to attach the pouch to the belt is minimally invasive and allows for a more secure latch between the inner and outer belt. In addition, the DAA Racers can be mounted bullets out or bullets forward as traditional. Although the DAA Racers appear to be the highest quality option, I decided the added versatility and adjustability would not be worth the $15 cost increase per magazine pouch. You can essentially buy 3 Ghost Hybrids ($55) for half the cost of 3 DAA Racers ($99).The Ghost Hybrids, although less versatile than the DAA Racers, and without adjustable magazine retention like the Ghost 360s, offer an incredible value for the cost. The Ghost Hybrids do excel in their own right. Pouch configuration is a breeze and the durability is top-notch. There are times that simplicity is preferred over feature-rich options and I believe this is a perfect example of that fact.

Great mag pouches. I have used them on several double belts for USPSA .I have paid a lot more for others that weren't as good. These are the only ones I now use. They can't be beat for quantity and value.

These are as stated. There are many choices out there for magazine pouches. I chose these for simplicity of use, compact size, reasonable price. I will buy again if the need arises.

This is the second time I got the Ghost 360 hybrid magazine pouches. First was for my son's Glock 17 double-stack magazines so he can get into firearms. Second, was for my MecGar CZ magazines for a 2-day tactical class with LAPD SWAT.Love the holsters - customizable fit and retention. Durable! Extremely good value...I had to subtract ONE STAR - they need to provide better instructions either with the package or on their website.

The ghost mag pouches were a bit more expensive than other mag pouches, but they are definitely worth the extra dough. As someone who is just stepping into the competition shooting space, these are a game changer. I tried some cheaper pouches that used screw tension and struggled several times when changing mags during a shoot. That will no longer be an excuse I can use thanks to these super fast mag pouches. They are also easy to add to a belt and move or place them where you want them. I highly recommend and will buy more if the need arises.

These Mag carriers are great. Best ones i have used so far. Wish they stuck out from the belt a little more as the mags rub my size during my matches. But oversll they work really well!

Mag holders used in USPSA competition they work great. This is the second set purchased as I want a complete back up outfit for each match. Great value and work flawless.

Very easy to change the tension with the included spring clips. Perfect fit on my CZ and Glock magazines.
