Bought as a Treat For My Diabetic Dog
I was racking my mind, thinking of what to buy my diabetic dog for a treat besides fresh veggies, as there are times I cannot get to the store and the fresh veggies go bad. Then it hit me, freeze dried veggies! He currently is not cleared for "diabetic dog treats" the vet sells but got the okay for veggies and since the label states the ingredients are 100 percent broccoli only, these fit the bill!I have never purchase freeze dried broccoli before so I was pretty amazed at the taste. Many of the florets had a nice sweet taste. They are very light in weight but pack a punch in taste and have a nice crunch to them. It somewhat reminds me of of cheese puff in weight and crunch (but not quite). My dog loves them, as do I. I did not cook them in any way as that was not my intended purpose, but they sure are good as is for a snack, and if not for the price point, I honestly would order them for myself as a snack and eat them often. But for now, I am ordering them as a healthy treat for my senior, diabetic dog.

Tasty and High Quality, With a Caveat
I purchased two bags of these broccoli florets near the end of Sept 2020 to use in backpacking meals. The quality is very good and the broccoli seems to have been freeze-dried at peak of freshness, but there were a lot more chunks of stem than what I was expected from a product stating it contains florets. I'm not unreasonable and understand manufacturing isn't perfect, but at least half of the product had no floret parts at all. That aside, these were still totally edible and a very tasty way to add vegetables to my pack meals. Will buy again.

Surprising
When I first saw the bag and felt the bag, I was scared it was a rip-off. However after buying a similar sized canister of broccoli that was way more expensive and discovering that the product was all stem, I am pleased with this brand. This bag is full of florets and it is pretty substantial. I've had two meals with it already and I still have about 8 to 10 more meals left. For 8 bucks, it's worth it.Tip: I notice that boiling the broccoli is much better tasting than steeping it.

Made My 7-Year-Old Brother Cry
I had been joking for most of December that I had purchased my 7-year-old brother “14 bags of freeze-dried broccoli” as his only Christmas present. At the time I began joking about it, I didn’t even know freeze-dried broccoli was actually a thing you could buy— I just made up the worst thing, in my mind, you could possibly get a 7-year-old boy for Christmas. However, Christmas Day, I discovered this item on Amazon and decided to buy it to be funny. When it arrived, my whole family gathered around as I told my brother that “one last Christmas present,” had arrived for him. We thought he’d laugh or call me a stinker or something. Instead, he broke down crying, and I had to hug him and apologize profusely. Now, that’s on me, right? I’m the one who played a mean trick. Sure. But after the hubbub died down, we decided to open the bag, and each member of my family tried a single floret. The moment we opened the bag, the whole kitchen was enveloped in an intense odor of farts, and I can’t say the broccoli tasted much better. My dad insisted we keep it so as not to waste it, and suggested that maybe the fart stench and taste could be masked in some sort of soup. However, the next morning, the broccoli had mysteriously gone missing from the pantry, and a few days later, my 7-year-old brother admitted to waking up in the middle of the night to surreptitiously throw it away. Sooo... Not a popular item in our house.

Good Car Snack
It’s pretty expensive given the small quantity that you receive and wish it wasn't in plastic packaging. That said I really enjoy the flavor but haven’t reordered due to price and packaging. It’s a good car snack And definitely something to have on hand when you’re camping or traveling or for your emergency kit

Nice to add to soup
I enjoy this in soup. I fill a coffee cup halfway with broccoli and the other half with boiling water. I leave it a few minutes then toss it in soup. Its pretty good. I do object to their 'no stems' statement. I am looking at a soup bowl full of stems right now.

Tasty but small bag
I hated to give this product 3 stars because it was delicious...but I ate the whole bag in one sitting because it was so small. I thought it was going to be a much bigger bag. I’ll do more reading in the details next time. But let me say again, they were good!!!!!

Yummy but small
This product was a fantastic snack and loved that the only ingredient was broccoli, but was very high price for how little I actually received.
