Genuine FIAT Parts - Cover Kit: Front End (82212805)

We bought this car shield for our Fiat because we tow our Fiat behind our RV. We noticed when we went over graveled road that the car took a beating. We put the shield on as soon as we got it. However, we found that we were going to need to modify it so that the towbar connections would still be accessible. While I am not a professional seamstress, I've done my fair share of sewing projects, so I decided to take this on myself. I made the modifications and we put the shield back on today. It works! I will try to remember to report back in a year to report if the 'modifications' held up.

Great bra. Went on easy. Look sharp. Couldn't even tell it had ever been used. It was just as advertised: Like New!

So first the Pros- Item seems to be well made- Straight forward installNow for the Cons- Item does not fitI purchased this for my wife's Fiat 500c and she was very excited.Upon receiving the item we went about installing it and it didn't fit right.While the overall fitment was correct, the cutouts for the small bumper protrusion on each side was off considerably.Assuming the incorrect item was sent I requested a replacement which we received today. Wouldn't you know it ..It's the very same item that was sent the first time.This item advertised to fit Fiat 500 / 500c. The item sent was for a fiat 500 Sport.Which has a slightly different front end configuration. I will be returning this product and purchasing it somewhere else.See attached pics .. You can see the advertised image which has no gap between the lower mesh and the cutout.In the other image from the included Fiat 500 Sport instruction manual, you can see the strip of leatherette between the lower meshand the cutout which is what is throwing off the correct fitment.Buyer beware ...

Received on time as promised. Fit is perfect. Snug, but did not have same problems others have experienced with being too tight. Looks pretty good. We have only had it for about a month, so far we are satisfied.

Bra fit well, had to warm it in the sun to get it to fit around but that's good as then we knew it was fitting very tight with no gaps. Good price.

Perfect fit and easy install. You have to stretch it a little to get it to fit but that is normal for this type of product. That should be explained in the instructions.

It is critical that you wash and wax the car before you put it on the first time as the vinyl has to be stretched about a 1/4 of an inch to affix to the car. During the initial installation, you will need about 1 hour...subsequent installations after rainstorms or car washes only require about 5 to 10 minutes. Take your time as you do not want to scratch the paint. Otherwise, it does its job and looks good too!
