I cant comment on effectiveness of working as its a gift and hasnt been given yet, but I assume there will be no issues once a battery is installed. However, the quality of it I can comment on, and I am impressed. Its is heavier than I expected, which is good, it is well made, looks classy and is sturdy. It is going to be a great gift and I am sure the persons I am giving it to will really like it.It arrived quickly and well packed. Very happy with it thank you

Got this as a golden anniversary present.Bigger in size than I expected which was a bonus. Really pleased with my purchase.

Delighted with this clock it looks good but as its a gift I dont Know how is when working

This was for a present and I was initially impressed how nice it looked when I first received it, unfortunately that's where the positives end.Upon inserting the first brand new battery the clock failed to start. Thinking it may be a faulty battery tried a second new battery but the clock did not work this is more of a decorative piece than a functional timepiece. If you do buy this clock as a present beware make sure you check that it works before you give it to someone.On reading the reviews this seems to happen a lot

This clock is better in real life and the photo doesn’t do it justice on the website, really happy, shame matching photo frame didn’t arrive in same Condition, I have also added a review for the photo frame

Clock arrived with cracked/broken glass and clock mechanism did not work. Amazon was kind enough to refund the cost. It was for a gift for my parent's 50th anniversary. So disappointed since picture made it look very nice.
