I have a small Sign company and we make wood and metal signs.I have bought a bunch of 90 Deg bits and for the money these are my go-to ones if the cut depth is a 1/2 in or less.The 90 degree-ness is not perfect so if the cut is a little deeper than 1/2" it leaves a bit of an edge.Not all of the bits come to a perfect point, not a big deel for letter only signs but for hi-detail ones it is an obvious problem. Probably 3 out of the 5 usually are pretty good, I expect 1 or 2 to leave a 1 or 2 mm flat spot on the bottom of the cut but for the cost you cant go wrong, each one cuts a bunch of signs.I cut mostly Pine, Maple and a bit of Cherry and they work great.Check out our work on FB= Johnson Sign Works

The tool worked as advertised. I expect to get a long life from these bits.

I'll preface my review by saying that I order A LOT on Amazon. And I get most of my CNC/Router bits online. This isn't an attack on Amazon or the seller - simply starting the facts.I ordered this item expecting a set of (5) bits. All the same. 90 degree V bit / V Groove bit. And the listing pictures and description confirmed it would be a 90 degree V groove with two flutes.The items received : 3 pieces, in a box marked as a 5 piece pack. The bits are of the same group, but they are ENGRAVING bits. Same category, wrong purpose. Cutting depth is roughly 7/8", not 1/2".When it comes to CNC carving - the shape, profile, angles, depth of cut.... They all play a major role in the outcome - every bit has a different finish.Though this is close, it's NOT what I ordered. Listing pictures all featured 90 degree V Groove Router bits, not the received engraver bits.In the defense of the seller - the storage box is marked appropriately, as ENGRAVING. However, that is not what the listing described.I'm disappointed, but I also understand that mistakes happen. If this listing is in fact for the bits received, change the listed pictures and description. If this was a simple oversight, then fine.
