Fit great but it sits lower than others I’ve seen designed for the Toyota Highlander.Bolt-on fitment meant no trips to dealer or an installer.Amazon also has sellers who offer the electrical hook ups (vehicle specific or universal) to connect trailer lights or brakes or a brake controller.Installation was less than an hour and the trickiest part was holding up the unit to underside of vehicle so it could bolt to the frame.

Installed on 2011 Highlander base. Super easy install. Bolted right on with no issues. Torq specs are included. Excellent sturdy construction. Only issue is that the part that goes under the muffler gets dripped on by the tailpipe. I think that will eventually cause it to rust. The receiver also sticks out further from the bumper than I would like, about 3 or 4 inches. I was hoping it would be flush. All in all, great product. I still prefer it's square tube construction over the round tube options.

Fit right on and hope it last forever!

Feels very solid and looks well made. It fit my 2008 Toyota Highlander with no problem except that I no longer can have my 19 inch full spare mounted with this hitch. I ended up installing myself with wifey and two boys because it is heavy for one person or even two. Hardest part was removing rusted screws and caps. Mostly wanted the hitch for bicycle rack and other attachments like a stepper for when I need to mount the kayak on top.
