First impression: great value
I picked this up for some dumbbell work when I don't feel like hauling my butt down to the gym. I just set it up today and finished my first lift. So far, I'm impressed. While I wasn't blown away by the level of packaging, it arrived undamaged. Even the rolled-up exercises poster wasn't crushed. There are a few translation errors in the manual, but honestly, setup was so easy that instructions weren't really needed. Within minutes, I was trying it out. The first thing I noticed is that it's really light. Coupled with some reviews I saw claiming it cracked in half on first use, I was a little wary when I climbed on it with weights. As soon as I started lifting, stability concerns immediately left my mind. I had it set up on carpet and it still felt almost as stable as a commercial bench on gym rubber. However, one downside to the light weight is that it slides when an exercise applies as much lateral force as downward. I had to brace the back stabilizer with my feet for spider curls. Pins are spring-loaded, which is great for a bench this cheap. Adjustment is easy during supersets. Being light makes it very easy to pack up and store, though it's a little awkward to carry in the folded state and could have used some handles. The manual claims there are holes for the pins to lock the seat and back into place while folded, but I only found one on the seat side. Also, not having holes for the locking bolt to pass through the frame once folded seems like a missed opportunity. Together these oversights allow it to flop around a bit as it's carried, so make sure you're holding it right to avoid pinched fingers. It would be possible to slide this under a bed in the extended state, but it'd probably be too tall to do so once folded. As you can see, it fits nicely in the corner behind my rowing machine. Between my body weight and dumbbells, I'm only loading it up with about half the weight it's rated for. Not sure I'd try any serious barbell work on it. But for 80 bucks, I'd say my expectations are met without any serious drawbacks and I'm excited about getting some more use out of it. If the thing falls apart while I'm on it, you know I'll come back to update the review :)

Feels just like a bench at the gym
I've been doing dumbbell workouts nearly everyday on this bench for 2 months now. Things I like about this bench: โข Feels well made and sturdy. โข Foldable form is perfect for apartment living. โข Mine doesn't wobble, like at all. โข That foothold thing is optional, you'll notice I didn't attach it to my bench. โข Some other foldable benches sit really high off the ground for some reason, this one is normal height. โข I appreciate that the design is low profile and doesn't look obnoxious next to my furniture. Areas of concern: โข I saw other reviewers say that the nub in the locking mechanism got bent during bench press. I would not bench press with this bench, just because the locking mechanism doesn't inspire that much confidence for me. However I did stress test this bench by laying it flat, sitting on the upper edge while holding two 70 lb dumbbells, and bouncing up and down on the seat to see if it would break. It did not feel like it would give. I also regularly do chest press with two 70 lb dumbbells on this thing. This bench feels very sturdy and I am not worried at all that the locking mechanism will have any issues during dumbbell exercises. I also have the feeling that the people that had bent locking mechanisms possibly didn't twist it all the way in like you're supposed to. However, if I do have problems with this bench, I will definitely update this review. โข The upright height isn't enough to lay your head against for overhead press. I thought this would be annoying but it turns out it doesn't really matter at all, since I could scoot forward in the seat and lean back so that my head is supported by the bench. Also doing overhead press without leaning your head back is not even unpleasant. Overall, this bench is high quality and fills all my needs. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Update: A little over 4 years later, that little nub finally broke off. I have the powerblocks barbell attachment, and I've been setting the bar (roughly) onto the bench after doing shoulder shrugs. The full weight of that is 200 pounds (90kg). I was doing that for a year before it broke. Thought I'd update the review, but it looks like they changed this listing to a different product so it doesn't matter that much anymore I guess.

not perfect, but close - part 2
The bench arrived today, and upon the minimal assembly required, I decided to make some upgrades before I had even used it. These were not absolutely necessary, but doing so enhanced the sturdiness and overall usability. First, i added some duct tape around the inserted part of the legs to minimize movement. Second, I added two inside washers to the leg/ankle holder since it moves up and down. Third, I drilled two additional holes in the main bench bracket to provide two additional incline placements for the back/main support. Finally, I drilled a hole in the steel "pin" that holds the bench together and allows for the bench to be folded for storage. Doing this allowed me to use a "cotter" pin to a. make sure the pin didn't fall out while using the bench, and b. insure that it will not fall out and get lost when storing the bench. All in all, an excellent bench. Arrived less than a week after ordering (w/o any damage), and was super easy to assemble. The company even provided two wrenches (w/three different metric openings) to assemble the bench. Nice welds, minimal movement (after the aforementioned mods), lightweight and storable. Though I thought that the leg support rollers locked into place, and that there was a higher incline for the butt portion of the bench, it is still extremely versatile and held up nicely for my first workout. Not sure I would want to use it to rep out 235 lb bench presses, but am not at all concerned with doing 100 lb dumbell presses. For the price and convenience, this would be really hard to top. Very happy! Update: so, I had to go back and drill another hole so that the back support would actually lay flat. (it still is not completely flat because the butt/seat support section is slightly off.) Also, when I had the bench in the decline position (for the back support) the ends of the metal support rails dug into my back so much so that it was too painful to continue. I ended up wrapping and taping the ends, but still need to lay a towel across the gap when doing decline position(s). Rethinking my original review and knocking off a star. Just really poor quality control concerning the "missing" holes and the oversight concerning the ends of the metal rods digging into your back while using.

++ Tremendous value!
I looked at a lot of other benches over the course of a couple of weeks, I went with this one because it looked like it had the sturdiest construction. Most of the others in this price range had flimsy-looking braces for tilting the pads. This bench is built very well! It was easy to assemble, the steel is beefy, and my first workout with it left me very satisfied. It is just shy of the quality of the benches I have used in commercial gyms, but this one mine! The folding feature is also great so it's not a monster in my garage. UPDATE June 2023: More than 2 years later and this bench is still going strong. It has been used 3 - 5 times per week and I have had zero problems with it. My wife sewed a terrycloth cover to go over the back pad because I work out in my garage in Arizona and the vinyl gets quite sweaty, the terry cover fixes that issue. Well worth the money!

RitFit Weightlifting Workout Bench
This bench is awesome, especially for the price. But dont let the price fool you. This bench has all the bells and whistles as the ones you see for hundreds of dollars. First let me say it was delivered early. The unpacking and assembly took no longer then 15 minutes. First impression was it's got commercial fell and look. It appears to be very durable. The back rest and seat have several multiple position from Decline to Incline and it comes with a foot hold that can be easily stowed under the seat and out of the way with the use of a rocker style arm. On top of it all it only weighs 35 pounds and can be easily folded with the removable of a single safety pin. I After playing with the bench I grabbed a set of dumbbells and did a few exercises placing the bench in multiple positions. The bench is sturdy and comfortable and there was no wobble or issues. This is a must have if you are looking for a superbly built, multi-positional strong bench, with extreme comfort and fold-able for storage. Oh yeah did I mention the price. Only 79 bucks..Dont hesitate with this one, Insane, get yours today.

Did NOT come with the 510 lb rhinoceros in picture- but still a great bench!
Easy to assemble as others have noted, my only gripe is that a couple of the screws came loose in shipping and I found washers, bolts and nuts scattered within the box. Luckily all the pieces were there, but I had to be very careful searching the box under the flaps. The other inconvenience was that the metal was dented and I was unable to slip the legs into the metal square. Luckily I had a hammer handy, so after a couple hits I was able to reverse the dent and make it square. I was really looking forward to having my own 510 lb pet rhinoceros since it was pictured in the ad- it seems like they were demonstrating the sturdiness of the bench and not offering a bundled "Workout Bench with a FREE Rhinoceros" as is commonly found in the home fitness industry. I'm not sure if the bench upholstery material will withstand the test of time, but luckily upholstery is cheap in my town so even if it scuffs or tears it's not a big deal. I love the sheet it came with demonstrating all the great ideas for exercises that can be done with the bench- it really maximizes the utility of the bench and provides great ideas. I'm not sure if I mentioned this already, but they did NOT (I repeat, NOT) ship a rhinoceros with the bench :-(. Still gave them 5-stars!

A fine bench that can be a pain to store and adjust
I used this bench for a couple of years but recently replaced it with a different brand. All in all, I found this bench to be perfectly sturdy and a totally fine purchase for anyone who is just looking for a bench. I would still be using this bench if I hadn't been forced to find a replacement with my wife and I moved houses and had to make some sacrifices when we ran out of truck storage. The only observations I have that lowered my review is that even when folded up, it still takes up quite a bit of space (assuming you're using this in a small home gym), and after two years, the adjustment holes had already become so worn that it became almost impossible to slip the pin in and out. Another annoyance is that the plastic feet constantly pop off any time you nudge it, enough so that I almost just Gorilla glued them in place but opted not to. Like I said, a fine bench overall with some minor annoyances that motivated me to replace it the first time I had an opportunity to do so.

Good bench for the price
For the price, this is a pretty good bench for a home gym. The build quality feels not too far off from benches and some gyms and the ability to fold it is a plus. The size is perfect for me at 5'8 where the seat isn't too low or high. The seat and the backrest each have multiple adjustments so it can be used completely upright (pretty much at 90 degrees which is too upright for me and which I would never use), for incline/flat/decline bench press, and even for situps (with the backrest fully declined and seat fully inclined). The only slight negatives are that the seat is a bit on the firm side, and I'm not sure how long the material lining the backrest and seat will last - not sure if it's made of leather, fake leather, or some sort of vinyl. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts tearing in a few years or so. Also, you definitely need to make sure that you fully tighten the adjustment knobs after making any adjustments as stated in the manual. I didn't tighten the adjustment knob for the backrest enough one time while doing incline dumbbell presses and the weight caused the backrest to fall all the way to the full decline position during one rep. Lesson learned - now I make sure to tighten the knobs fully and haven't had any problems since. Overall, I'm really happy with this bench for my little modest home gym.

Solid and adjustable
Nice solid bench. Works as intended. Can be folded away for storage. Shipping was prohibitory expensive, but I suppose it is quite bulky.

Needs improvement
Great bench ,I have only one problem the seat should be just as wide as the ankle supports , the seat is 1ft wide and ankle supports is 1 ft 4inch wide I have large legs @ 25โ each , so when doing any incline workout the backs of my knees rest half off the seat makes it a little unstable and digโs into the backs of the knees , otherwise itโs sturdy , backrest and seat padding is good

Sturdy, easy to assemble and folds up easily and compactly
I use this for my home workouts with weights. The bench comes in three pieces and took 5 minutes to assemble. Very easy. It's heavy to move but that's expected. Not much to dislike - the bench folds away in 20 seconds and is quite compact and slides under my table. It's also - when flat - a bit lower to the ground than some of the benches I've used in gyms, which - for me - is a positive. I also use it on my wooden floor when inside, and it has plastic feet which have not marked anything yet. I benched 40kg without the bench wobbling, so all good so far. I haven't used the round pads around the end of the bench though (presumably for hooking your feet under and doing sit ups). Good value for money.

A great bench for the money although a few cosmetic faults
This is a great bench for the money. It doesn't get 5 stars because although it's good it's not perfect. The faults: It arrived with quite a few dinks and scratches It's not straight, it's not out by much, when I look from above its kinked The welding is messy, the spatter hasn't been cleaned off properly before painting. The backrest covering is creased in one corner as it's not fitted correctly. For me personally I would have liked the 90 degree position if it were about 85 degrees None of the above affect the function of the bench although I did slide off the bench in the decline position The good bits: It's sturdy and stable, it has the best maximum load I could find for the money. I've had 350 lb on it so far and it hasn't budged. It has a good range from decline to 90 degrees It feels safe, the locking bolts to adjust the seat and a backrest feel secure and strong It's very, very easy to assemble It's easy to fold up and store. The padding is good. What's not to like, would recommend it
