perfect for the use
These cases allow my B&S calipers (I have both SAE and Metric calipers, for the sake of direct reading) a perfect fit, just as I would have hoped. Plus, these are American made. Beautiful work and craftsmanship.

It is good case overall, for a price
Cons:Rough Cut, with a lot of sharp edges. It partially looks as pressure-washed wood, rather than cut on a router. It is not fitting the Caliper, so I had to additionally trim the corners and chisel the few locations.Pros:PriceIt is solid wood, so all the previously mentioned adjustments are not a big problem, if you have some tools at home, and time to sand and adjust your caliper.

Not perfect but it's workable
Like the other reviews, the box is rough on the inside and not produced with the same precision as the calipers. Just give it a little TLC and it will work fine.

Perfect fit
Other than sanding down the edges with 180 grit sandpaper and installing some felt in. This was great for the price.

Well made case
Fit and finish on this case is excellent. The recessed areas fit my digital Brown & Sharpe calipers perfectly.

Needs a lot of work
I’m not very happy with this box, the inside slots were very poorly made, lots of splinter and misalignment issues. Did some sanding, staining and a coat of polyurethane to achieve the finished look.

Good fit
Good fit serves its purpose. A little pricey

Not by Brown and Sharpe
I bought this item to replace one that I had purchased years ago when I was working on the shop floor. The one I had purchased was directly from B&S, meaning that the quality was equal to the calipers it protected. This is not. Not only is the quality of the wood low, but the case doesn't close evenly (one side is open about .100" while the other is shut completely), the CNCing inside is rough hewn, has stringers from not being cleaned up and there's still parts not cut out of the reliefs! I've seen better cases provided for $10 micrometer knockoffs. VERY disappointed. :-(
