Perfect in every way for orchid
The glass was very sturdy. I especially liked the flat bottom so that I could set this on a table with my miniature orchid inside. The vent holes are good for orchids to keep the roots from rotting. This was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I also purchased 3" slotted orchid pots from Amazon and re-potted my orchid into an appropriate ventilated pot.

Beautiful, albeit fragile. Great deal, better customer service. The first one arrived broken, which was quickly and conveniently replaced. KUDOs to this merchant!!!
