Great Product.
Love this hot mustard. It's hot and spicy just like the pepper you get in the Chinese restaurants. The heat level diminishes over time, so you want to use this mustard immediately after you mix it up.

This is the perfect hot mustard mix!! I love it. Following the simple directions makes it taste just like the Chinese restaurants make. It's plenty hot enough for me, but I can make it hotter if I wanted to by adding more mix. Like the restaurants hot mustard mix, water and the mix is all that is needed to make it. This small can will last a very long time.

It's been a long time since I have found a good quality hot Asian mustard. You can mix as much or as little as you want, canister seal keeps the powder fresh and intact. It's pungent and spicy, exactly as you want a good hot mustard to be. I think this was a good value! I will definitely buy it again.

This is really hot. I love hot food and always have, but this is too hot for me. I mixed it with Grey Poupon and it was good, though I still needed a kleenex. The flavor is good.

Best Oriental and Yellow Mustard recipes
We love hot mustard on our eggrolls and making prepared yellow mustard is also super easy with this mustard . This is good mustard, but you need to know how to use it. Mustard flour and tumeric-the two ingredients in this mustard=have many, many health benefits. I like this mustard because it already has tumeric added for coloring. Oriental Mustard and English Mustard are the same thing, different name. You can make oriental mustard powder with english mustard and tumeric. This is just easier. To make hot mustard sauce all you do is mix hot mustard and enough water.to make a very thick paste. Let sit for an hour before diluting with water to desired consistency. For best results, I recommend refridgerating immediately in a tightly sealed glass jar to preserve heat although you can use any container for storage. Many people like to add a bit of oil to change the consistancy-I prefer to do this. If the mustard is too spicy for you, no problem, just add a little vinegar or lemon juice, but not too much at once or you might have to add more mustard. You can also add. a little sugar to taste-many chinese restaurants and sugar so you may prefer that. Some people add black pepper and/or red pepper. Play around with it. Make your perfect mustard. You can make your own yellow mustard as well. This requires the tumeric. You can add anything you want to your homemade mustard. This is the recipe I use for french's type yellow mustard: 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons apple cider (or white) vinegar 1 teaspoon all-purpose or wondra flour 3/4 teaspoon of salt 1/2 cup s&b mustard 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1. Combine all ingredients and heat, stirring constantly in 1 quart saucepan over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil. 2. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes, stirring frequently, then remove from heat and let stand uncovered for 2 minutes. 3. Cover and cool completely, then transfer to STERILIZED glass jar(s)-makes approx 8 oz. It will seem too watery, but it will thicken up. It will keep for one year. Do not even think about tasting this or worrying about the consistency for at least 24 and maybe as long as 48 hours. It will taste bitter if you try to taste it too soon. Patience is a virtue.....
