Thought I bought the filled bag. But was wrong. Learned how to fill the bag online. Had a great experience with my 15 year old son building the bag to his specifications as he is the boxer. This bag is great quality for the money.

I have two of these, I have one slightly above waist level and one at face level. I use the lower one for front kicks and the higher one for uppercuts and upward elbow strikes. I have had the lower level one for several months and it has held up very well. You will likely need to figure out how to hang this bag from two parallel hanging points as hanging the bag from one point does not work well at all.

The bag is really nice, nicer than I’ve seen in some gyms! But the chains that came with it are not really appropriate for this bag.

I needed a bag to assist in martial arts training for my class and I. This definately fit the bill. It is holding up to some serious abuse without mis-shaping. It has stayed firm and the hardware is definately taking a beating without even hinting at tearing. I can definately say that as I expand I will be looking to add anouther uppercut bag at the very least and this brand is definately the one.

Bag itself is top quality....chain and hookup leave alot to be desired if you hit it... the s shaped hooks lets the bag shoot right out of them and you will be rehooking it on 1 side if not both depending on how hard you punch...as far as it being an uppercut bag...if I had to do it over I would go with a teardrop or a round one they are way better on your hands and wrists and just for overall technique...great bag but my impatience on shipping of the other will mean I will end up with both...this is an old school uppercut bag...probably b4 they thought of round or teardrop...not to mention you will need a way to secure it where it doesnt spin...having both would be great if you can afford it has benefits if your creative...hope this helps

I've owned this bag for 4 months and I purchased it thinking that I would mainly use it to practice uppercuts, elbows, and knees. However, I found that I love practicing front snap and rising kicks with this bag. I have used this bag aggressively 4x's per week and it has taken the abuse. It is the favorite bag that I own (total of 4). When/if I break this bag, I will not hesitate to purchase this exact bag again.The bag is soft enough to hit without gloves, but I mostly use 16oz boxing gloves. For kicking I use wear shin pads, but I sometimes kick it without extra padding. I have had no problems. I have not opened the bag to see its contents, and I don't intend to. No funky smells or stuff leaking out of it.

This is the first uppercut bag I have used so I cannot compare it to others. But I did a lot of comparison shopping before buying this one. It was a good price and works great for our use. We use it as part of a cardio circuit. The size, weight and filling all fit our needs. We did change how we hung it up. The system it came with allowed it to swivel and we didn't like that. Otherwise we are happy with it.

I teach combat and all of my students loved this new bag. Mixed it with towels and foam with sand on top of it for weight. Foam on the outside so your not hitting a rock. Just have to be creative on how to fill it. Only had to adjust it twice to get it perfect. Recommend it.

This bag is the bomb. I don't fight professionally or even as a amateur. I train because I love it and I love the sport. But I will say, my uppercuts are getting some seriously good power when I throw them. This heavy bag is great. That's just my 2 cents
