I consider myself a pretty good fisher person but, haven’t had any takers of this bait as of yet.

Works excellently. Stays on even single hooks and lasts in current an for multiple casts. Caught several Chanel catfish in canals.

I fish in the Susquehanna in upstate NY and have had zero luck with this bait. I had my hopes up, but chicken livers and plain old night crawlers work better than this stuff. Have went out 3 separate times fishing 2 poles with 1 pole using this catfish bait and 1 using liver or worms. Never even so much as got a hit with this stuff. I will say that it stayed on the hook after countless casts, never came off. May work in some areas, but does not work here.

I was skeptical of these since most other nugget baits have sucked. These have a powder on the outside and it "melts" off in the water. I think that's a big factor in attracting catfish. They stay on the hook fairly well. Better than most other nugget baits. They leave a smell on your fingers so wear gloves if you aren't about that life.

Bought this to try out. I followed the instruction on the bag and used the provided hooks but had a large problem when putting hook they bait it would just crumble and break apart. Tried different hooks same result. Might catch fish if it stayed on hook
