Works like magic!
This mock dead crow has worked wonders! Crows were constantly using my birdbath to wash their food(yuck) and the little songbirds would stay away. As soon as I put the dead crow up next to the birdbath there was a commotion in the back with the crows. I had no idea how many there were! They squawked and fluttered away. I haven't seen them around since! I washed out the birdbath and now the bluebirds and cardinals are back! Thank you!

WOW - great sleep next morning . Worked right away .
Installed this dead crow upside down on my upstairs balcony railing - I live in a small town near the beach with a lot of residential construction so Crows are around to scavenge. Our home sits up high so crows being crows f around in the morning on our area's roofs and Caw Caw Caw at Sunrise just to be the A holes they are ..... they also peck on my chimney's spark arrester just to make a point. You know they eat all the little birds nestlings and eggs in their nests. In the afternoon they f around again to let you know they are the boss. Not anymore - literally within hours of setting this up they were spooked ....... left immediately - did some fly by's and were very agitated. Then I set up a skeleton Cat from Halloween next to this DMF'r.

Jethro the Crow works! Finally scared away the neighborhood terrors (crows)
War with the neighborhood crows: 2021 versionEver since the neighborhood crows had a ‘kid’ fall out of the trees in our back yard (many years ago), Dugan (Our dog - Lab) chased the baby around the yard as it could not fly yet(not hurting it), we rescued it, put it out front, crow parents yelled at us the entire time……. 30 minutes later, baby crow was run over by a car 1/2 a block away. NOT our fault, but they blame us, in some way! They constantly crap on our trucks. Sit on them and just crap all over them! Sit on the overhead wires the cross our driveway…. And sling their crap all over our driveway. They also tear apart anything and everything on our patio out back.We have put up streamers on the power pole, power company takes them down. We have streamers of all sorts all around our house. They are for the most part gone, except two freakin’ young ones this year. Sooooooooooo………………..Meet Jethro the crow. He joined our family a few days ago and hung out in the sun, on the kennel on day one (see picture). Today, he is hanging, literally, from the sunshade out back, under the eve as it is raining and he doesn’t want to get wet(see other picture). Tomorrow, it is supposed to be dry and sunny. I’m sure he will be laying in the sun somewhere out back! (Yes, we tie him down so no eagles try to take off with him and bring him in at night).Yes, this has escalated in to WAR. We are tired of the damn bird crap and destruction! They are not wanted here. Not after the crap they have caused.Oh, by the way, it sure has been quiet around here the past few days. I saw at them fly over and do a 180 as soon as they first encountered Jethro on the top of the kennel, laying in the classic ‘dead crow’ position!

It works!
This crow works! We had crows stealing the small trays of nut butter from our bird feeders (yes the entire plastic tray!) and cleaning out the seed. We hung this crow near the feeders, they came back the next morning for breakfast, did a lot of squawking, and never came back. It's been months. It has held up well hung upside down for the length of time it's been up, but the natural feathers on it are starting to show some "wear" from being hung upside down. I would definitely recommend.

It worked!
We feed some feral cats at our place of business, and the local crows decided that they wanted some of that food, too. But they didn't want to go near the cats, so they would sit at a distance and start cawing and screeching at them incessantly, and it rapidly became quite annoying. I tried chasing them away and throwing rocks near them to scare them off, but they would simply laugh at me and come back for more.I started looking for alternatives and bought this crow. First off, this fake crow is remarkably realistic and very well constructed for the price. We've had it hanging outdoors for over 6 months, and it has held up exceptionally well. I half expected the thing to start dropping feathers after the first rain, but it still looks like the day we bought it.I hung it upside down on a bush near the cat food, and almost immediately three or four crows gathered on the power lines and started screeching at the dead crow. It was obvious that they were reacting to it in an agitated way, so I knew they fell for it. Within a few days the crows stopped coming around, and they haven't bothered us for six months now. They are still in the neighborhood, but they avoid our area like the plague. No more annoying crows. It worked!!!

Not Working
I read the reviews before I purchased and was impressed and hopeful. Unfortunately the crow that is has been using my birdbath is still using it. I have tried moving the decoy but the crow is sadly not falling for this trick at all. The decoy its self seems well made and life like but for me was a waste of money.

This Really Works!!!
Most of our cranky crows are really gone! I wasn't sure if this would work, but we were desperate! The crows were driving me crazy with their constant gathering and cawing in our backyard. My lanai here in Tampa was no longer an oasis of peace with the limpkins AND the crows blaring their noisy calls. After tying this fake crow to a mangolia tree branch right outside the lanai, a crowd of crows flew near to the supposed corpse and started cawing like mad! However, after a while they left. Since then, they have come back fewer and fewer times. We switched the fake corpse to the front yard for awhile, because crows were also cawing from our tall palm tree there. The crows dive-bombed the fake corpse as if they were really mad at it, or trying to get it to come alive??? We're not sure. The only thing we're concerned about it that they are bothering us less. They are still around, but seem to be headed away from us. The crow corpse apparently bothers them and we are very happy we found this way to get rid of them. (almost)It's been a little over two weeks, and we are keeping our fingers crossed!
