I’ve been taking mass gainers for a while but wanted something without maltodextrin, and I was gaining way too much belly fat. Select Smart Mass is WAY easier on my stomach and tastes great on its own. I also mix with banana, peanut butter, avocado, and chia seeds for extra gains. Over the past month I’ve lost said fat, while keeping and slightly increasing lean muscle. A winner in my opinion!

Gave me diarrhea

What a complete disappointment. Had I really looked at the label before purchase (my bad for not doing that) I would have never bought this in the first place. When it shows 440 calories and 40g of protein in 1 scoop, what I didn't realize is that the 1 scoop is equal to almost many times normal scoop (it's 122g of powder where most scoops are 30g-40g). I can take any number of products that for the same amount of powder would give me more calories and more protein. Def will not buy this again. Some mentioning that it's chalky are true, but I will say that the taste was fine although a bit sweet for me.

Smart mass protein powder is a decent supplement for post workout drink. The serving size scoop is huge. I used spinach, water and berries to stretch it from being so thick. Even with the liquid and foods it’s still very powdery so I can never drink it just with a liquid which is a major downfall for me. I do like that it’s 40g of protein which is more than most protein powders. The chocolate flavor helps to curve my sweet tooth which is a major added benefit for me. The bag packaging isn’t my preference. I like containers with a twist top for secure closure.

I mean just wow! I love this product. I was searching for a mass gainer that would:- be easier on my stomach (most mass gainers have maltodextrin which causes severe digestive upset in those who already have a compromised one)- vegan- had more calories and protein than regular whey proteinI chose this one because almost all mass gainers are going to disrupt my sensitive digestive system, I just needed one that would disrupt it less. A few things I noticed:- This still makes me bloated so I try to never drink this before bed.- I get very gassy- I tend to feel extremely full after drinking this- there’s also a lot less powder than what they advertise.- you have to put a ridiculous amount of powder in the drink it’s actually insane 🤯 lolThe reason I love this product and will stick with it:- I’ve always been good at gaining weight but maintaining it has been a huge struggle. I’ve only bought this mass gainer once and since I used it, my body weight hasn’t dropped below my goal weight since and it’s been over a year. Even when I’m not being consistent with my diet and the gym, my body is still holding onto the weight better than it ever has before.- I seen results almost immediately. I know that sounds like a stretch but I’m already a gym fanatic, so my results probably came faster because my body is already working toward goals. After my first couple of days I gained weight quickly. I went from 125 to 135 lbs in about a week and a half.- I found that I didn’t need to drink this every single day. A couple times a week was more than enough for me. After a heavy leg day or glute day, I’d drink this and the next day I would notice changes (along with my other supplements and diet).- this is a product you’ll only need to buy a couple times if not once if you’re strategic about using it effectively. After seeing how well this mass gainer works, I put together a comprehensive plan for my next bulk phase where I included other supplements/vitamins, meal plans, and other body sculpting procedures, for maximum results. I will update after my phase to show my results.- What I also like is that even though there’s mass gainers out there with way more calories and protein, this gave me everything I needed and still added a boost to my calorie surplus. I would have loved more calories but honestly, this did the trick and was better for my digestive system than mass gainers with maltodextrin.In conclusion, this product isn’t perfect but it’s the best one I’ve found for my particular situation and I’m going to stick with it for my next bulk phase. 4 stars ✨Ps. I googled the ingredients, I didn’t find any of them to be alarming in the toxicity scale. All of the ingredients have been approved by the fda as well.
