L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow, Continuous Cocoa, 0.12 Ounces

I don't see anywhere on the little container that it came in; "24 hour wear" as the title says,...... only the word "continuous". With that being said, I can tell you that it "DID" rub off on my hand. I let it set for a few minutes before trying to remove it with just my "dry" index finger. No water. I used a small angled eye shadow brush to apply it. Big disappointment......it didn't absorb into the brush enough, and it flaked off the sides of the brush. I HATE when you apply eye shadow, and it flakes off, sprinkling down onto your cheeks. Especially the darker colors. I guess this finally convinces me to use "cream" eye shadows from now on. This color; ("891"- Cocoa,) is ALMOST " black," which is what I wanted, but just to let you know, it's the deepest darkest brown that you can possibly imagine. If "black" is just a bit too harsh for you, and you want a "SLIGHTLY" lighter shade of "BLACK", and I do mean SLIGHTLY, then this color would be "PERFECT" for you. Bottom line, I "LOVE" the color, but as far as 24 hour wear? NOPE! Eye shadow "primer" is a MUST with this one, which is what I was trying to AVOID!!!. The daily task of applying make-up takes long enough as it is, without applying all kinds of primers for this and that. .........NEXT ?!?!?!!! ..... : > (

This is a beautiful eye shadow, but also does a REAL GOOD JOB, of covering up areas where my hair, is still dark but thinking. I LOVE this particular dark rich color.

I've loved the eye shadow for a long time now but you cannot find it in most stores, and there's never this cocoa shade. This stuff stays put! I've even slept in it (I know...bad, but whatever) and the next morning it was still in tact so I washed my face and let the eyes go for another day. Love it!

When I wear this, the color looks more like a dark grey, not necessarily a dark cocoa (but this may also be due to the eyeshadow I wear -- pinkish tones). But, I still love it. It stays on all day and is easy to apply and remove. I use it has a lid shadow and an eyeliner. My only complaint about this product is that it dries in its container pretty quickly after opening. Like, it gets crumbly-dry. I just dab my liner brush in some water to moisten it before applying. That seems to help

To be fair, I have no way of telling if this eye shadow could have been great or not as this was delivered on a very cold day. When I got it out from my mailbox, it was frozen. Once defrosted, it was a crumbly mess.
