This set of socks are nicely padded and comfy. It has enough elastic in the fabric to hold onto my ginormous calves without cutting off the blood. My little piggies are comfy in these. They are thick and meant for casual shoes, not formal ones.

These are the best socks I've ever owned. They're warm, they're comfortable, the fit is perfect on my 10.5 feet, they have enough cushion to be comfortable inside boots but they're nowhere near bulky. No holes yet and I'm rough on footwear, I walk four miles a day and work on my feet. I intended to hand wash these to preserve them after realizing how good they are but accidentally threw a pair in the wash and they're fine, zero shrinking or unraveling, so I just machine wash and dry them now and they all still look great. Stocking up on these.

These socks are made from rabbit fur. I ordered wool socks, they stated these were wool, but didn't state they were made from rabbit (hare) wool.**These are very nice and well constructed socks. My husband said they were comfortable to wear and they are also very soft (not itchy or scratchy like normal sheep wool). He said they kept his feet warm. He even said, while he was in his office where it was warm, his feet got alittle warm but not to where he felt he needed to remove or change socks.

These aren't a real thick wool sock, but they are warm and comfortable. They shrunk a bit when I washed them, but they stretched back out to the original size when they were put on. The thinner wool is nice if you are wearing these with a dress shoe . I was very pleased with the quality of these socks. I also like that they came with several different colors.

The current title for these socks is misleading. When I bought it said, "Mens Soft Comfort Thick Casual Cotton Warm Wool Winter Crew Socks 5 Pairs". There are two misnomers here. First one: these are not as thick as something like Smartwool socks, but they meet my needs. And they are indeed warm. Second one: they only have 10% wool, which is ok with me, but I didn't need rabbit hair, which is 5% of the material. Kinda dumb to throw random animal products in there. And the product is from China, so I'm dubious as to how those rabbits were treated. Or the animals the wool came from. I try to buy as consciously as possible, which is not easy, especially since most of U.S. clothing comes from overseas. I'd note also that the synthetic shows fraying after just one use. Other than that, they seem to be decent socks for the price.

These socks are definitely warmer than average socks. They are soft and not itchy. We are using them at a Cryotherapy Spa so they have been keeping clients feet warm so far. The only issue is they do seem to slip down the ankle a little. Would've liked them better if they were a little taller too.
