Tire popped first ride

Cool bike...much better looking in person
Cool bike...much better looking in person. I just noticed there was just one review and it said the tire popped after the first use. Mine popped after inflating it to 38# and not even riding it - the sidewall says inflate to 40#. Hoping this isn't an ongoing issue since it seems very good otherwise. So far as fitment - I'm 6'2" and have the seat adjusted down to reach the road on both sides.

Tire popped on the way from a bike store.... Child is 13 years old, 113 lb. Reading previous reviews prevented me from reordering the same model again. Bike looks cool but inner tubes are very poor quality.
