J.J. Whitley Pink Cherry Gin 70 cl

Received bottle safely (after 1st attempt) and was not disappointed at all. Enjoyed the pink cherry gin with lemonade. Very refreshing (if you can say that about alcohol 😆) and added some fresh cherries & sprig of mint for decor & added hint of flavour. This is a good summer drink and slips down easily over conversations or kicks in as a conversation starter. You must try it. 👌 Hint of cherry, not overly sweet, smooth tasting and goes down fast! Really disappointed with this gin ! It looks lovely .fantastic bottle but i could drink it neat ! Very subtle flavour and doesnt taste very strong . Gutted

This is one of our new favourites for summer. Served in a tall glass with either slimline tonic or ice cold lemonade it makes a refreshing drink. The Cherry flavouring is very subtle hence the 4 stars as my other half would prefer a heavier kick of flavour, even without a mixer its very subtle. The bottle comes as is so not in a box but would still make a nice gift for a gin lover, you just need a gift bag!

A lovely gin. More sour than I expected from the name and colour but still very drinkable. The flavour is very subtle but a little bit of plain tonic water helped to bring the flavour out a bit more. Packaged extremely well - so well it took us some time to get into it, but that meant it was very well protected in transport. Very happy with our purchase. Thank you.

Gin was less taste and colour than usuall, I did subscribe for a few months after this bottle I cancelled the subscription

Very nice gin delicate flavour although this has nothing to do with product delivery driver would not step back off my doorstep as wanted to look at my id I’m 60 surely there was no question I’m old enough to buy alcohol in these times of social distancing please use common sense

As flavoured gins go J.J.Whitley's Pink cherry gin is very pleasant, its quite a delicate flavour compared to other fruity gins, its smooth subtle cherry flavour goes down very well with a decent tonic. I've also tried the Plum gin by J.j.whitley, this is a slightly stronger fruity flavour but also very nice, the bottles are beautiful too.

Ok you have to be practical here. Whitley Pink Cherry. If you like a strong drink, you might like this neat. I don't like tonic so tried with diet lemonade. If you have bought the pink and yellow Cherries, you will know that really there isn't much taste from them, unlike say the black cherries which I love. This is supposed to have almond which I can taste as an after taste. I love almonds so that's a plus for me, drinking this though, there really isn't much if any cherry taste at all, it's more sweet. It isn't a bad gin. but of your hoping for cherry, sadly IMHP there isn't any. Or maybe there is, but it's hidden. With the almond after taste this is more like a cherry bakewell. Alcohol content and taste is good, too strong neat for me, but maybe not for others. Was I disappointed, a bit hoping for cherry, but not completely disappointed. As I said I love almonds. And was pleasantly surprised by the after taste. Would I buy again? Yes, but not for the cherry, but the almond Which I would have loved even more if it were a tad stronger on almond taste. For the cost it isn't that bad. You get what you pay for and this really isn't a bad gin, just not quite enough flavour for me. But many like the Violet in Whitley, at the price it is at the moment, it's worth a try, especially whilst on offer.
