Impressive. I'm a convert!
Being a hammer and pneumatic nailer kind of Real Man, I always thought palm nailers were an unnecessary tool in search of a problem. But, I ran into a situation recently where the 3" galvanized framing nails I needed to attach barn trim boards under a 10" eve were not seating all the way with the framing nailer, and I couldn't effectively hammer or punch the nails flush manually due to the overhanging fascia. This tool arrived the next day, and my girlfriend, who is generally unskilled with a hammer, was even able to finish seating the proud nails with this palm nailer after just a few minutes of experimentation. She seemed to actually enjoy it. We finished the barn trim with this tool and it saved me a ton of frustration and time. Also, I have neuropathy from a prior biceps surgery that can make swinging a hammer a rather painful affair. This thing avoids the nerve pain I would normally get from gripping a hammer. I especially love the feature where, when driving a nail, the palm nailer screams to a stop leaving just enough nail exposed for you to make a decision about pulling it, running a sting off of it, or committing to completely nailing it. Additionally, the swiveling hose connector is a nice upgrade that'll save you $10 if you were to buy your own. That'd be 20% of the cost of this unit, which is priced very well for a professional tool. Some things to consider: The tool will quickly drive a nail to flush, and even a little recessed. If you're not careful, it can beat up the face of the wood pretty quickly. It's probably not designed for finish/trim work, unless you develop a really fast reflex for it. Also, it's really loud - your neighbors might think it's automatic gunfire if they're skittish! You should wear hearing protection. Finally, if you're not accustomed to pneumatic nailers you may not be aware that tools like this need pneumatic tool oil. After dripping a few ml of tool oil into the air connection, you should drive a few nails, remove the rubber palm swell and wipe up excess oil to keep it from getting all over your hand. One thing I wish I could find for this thing is a rafter/ladder hanger hook. It seems like it'd be an easy thing to design to fit at the base of the hose connector. There are quality hanger hooks available for other Metabo HPT nailers, but I think I'll have to hack one together for myself.

Great palm nailer
if you need to do some nailing together of some wood stuff well this is just really handy and light weight. it works for joist hangers because the nail tip can go in the hole and no pounding required. blast to use. palm nailers have their limit. make sure to do some research so you know what these do so you are not disappointed.

Beast mode
This thing is a absolute beast !!! Should have purchased it years ago !! Perfect for tight spots or overall any spaces really. It really drives a 3" spiral nail deep into treated 2x10 to a 6x6 in a second !! Feather weight, zero fatigue from using it. Gets the job done and extremely well !!

Worked well for a year or so - then died
Worked really well for about a year. I was able to use it extensively for joist hanger nailing in tight spots for a large 500 sq ft decking project and some other projects (probably 15-20 hrs of actual use) . I had a few add ons (steps) two years later and it blew a seal or something. It quite working properly and old black oil started leaking out. Worked great when it did. Very convenient and comfortable and small enough to get into the tightest places. Not that expensive, but in my hands it's something of a disposable tool so I had to knock off one star. But when you need it, you need it -- so I bought another one.

Game changer
Wow I had no idea how great and easy this makes framing. I got this for some hard to reach spots that I couldn’t swing a hammer. Now I prefer using this for any nailing I need done. Beats smashing fingers and destroying the wood surface. I can easily operate this one handed in tricky spots hanging from a ladder. Highly recommended this to anyone that swings a hammer. Price is great and seems well built. Zero issues so far. I’ve set about 400 nails with it so far. Wish I would have bought this sooner.

Works great and saves time!
Works great! Been a life saver while building our deck! It's light, comfortable to hold, and makes the job go quicker than hammering by hand. Upon initial use, I didnt think it was going work, read some trouble shooting tips, and found that I just needed to add a few drops of pneumatic oil and it was good to go. Bending it side to side it's easy to maneuver and get into most of those difficult to reach places

This palm nailer is great, although it takes a little while to get used to. I used it to nail in some rafter tie downs on the roof of a firewood shed I was building. The tie downs took 35mm nails so I had to be very careful as I was loading them in as they are below the recommended size. The magnetic tip is great, would be great if there was a lockout mechanism so I could be less worried about disconnecting it every time I moved it from tie down to tie down.

Una excelente opción para trabajos de construcción, sobre todo para aquellos que utilizan la madera, es muy práctica y potente.

Being in the Uk yes I did have to change the connector and yes the swivel tip while it seems nice by design just leaked air. So I switched it out and it works incredibly well, to anyone buying for use in the UK don't concern yourself with getting the US to UK adapters just unscrew the swivel one and you can just screw a UK version right on. I would highly recommend. My only gripe is a wish I could get an extension for it when your trying to get into a tight space in the corner of wooden joists the units size can get in the way. It's a solid product, and has some weight so you can feel how well it's been built. it's ridiculously easy to use and i have lost count of how many nails and how much time this purchase has saved me i just wish i knew there was such a product sooner i think i was late to the party.

Pros: This tool is awesome. I used it for nailing straps and hangers on an LVL with 16d and 10d nails. The nailer works amazingly, driving the 16d nails into a dense LVL without issue. The driving piston of the nailer has a magnetic end and makes holding the nails in place very easy. The pivoting quick connect for the air line also makes it very easy to maneuver in tight spots. This nailer is also very inexpensive for it's capability, great value. Cons: It does take quite a bit of air to run. I've got a 26 gallon compressor and it would cycle every 15 minutes or so during use. The nailer is also very loud, even compared to 30 degree strip-fed framing nailer. I would definitely recommend hearing protection when using this. None of concerns caused me any issue, but might be a problem for some people.
