## Description

CTAR Ball SmarterFIT Chin Tuck Against Resistance is the improved version of our Original CTAR Ball and has been engineered in a more user-friendly weight and material. This makes the ball fit different sized individuals. CTAR Ball SmarterFIT is used to strengthen swallowing muscles by placing it between the chin and the chest while sitting upright, squeezing it with the chin to create resistance. This exercise can be performed either by isometric or isokinetic drills. It can be performed in a multi-directional manner also by placing it to the left or the right of the chin and pressing. Research by Yoon WL et.al. supports the use or chin tuck against resistance to enhance suprahyoid activity as a part of swallowing rehabilitation.
