This condenser has the thinnest glass ever. The moment the steam/hydrosol touched the glass it shattered on the inside(and no the glass was not cold yet , the water wasn't cycling through the condenser yet, but even if it was hello that's what this is for!!!). This is supposed to be boroscilate glass! It's not or if it is, it is extremely poor quality. Honestly I was pissed to have to wrap up shattered glass, send it back, and wait for a new condenser to come from another brand(which was really great by the way and from Amazon). Luckily the new one arrived in two days and I was able to distill the plants I needed.

Very cheap glass. Worked for one use, next time it had cold water ran through it for another use, the female joint cracked off down to where the water part began. Just keeping it real this glass is cheap and not meant for intense temperatures whether hot or cold.

as said the condenser arrived in one piece, but the Stonylab box was pretty shattered (while the Amazon box itself was neat) so either 1/ returned product sold as new 2/ poor handling from amazon staff 3/ poor handling from Stonylab. assuming the ones ordered previously arrived in perfect condition i bet for 1/ or 2/.this being aid i had to return the same article one week back as i discovered a tiny chip in the glass near the coolant inlet... will complete my review after i've tried it.
