Nice swivel mount and works just as expected for my H7 unit. The thing is the one I received from amazon has a black vinyl quick release button instead of the gold metal looking one in the picture. It seems to be secure and stable in white capping waves and in rough water running at 25 to 30mph. Johnny Ray products are well made and life time Guaranteed so I give it a 5stare rating even though it’s different then what’s in the picture on amazon. 👍 RIGHT ON Johnny Ray ATaBOY. P.S. you might have to modify the holes on your JR mounting plate just a wee bit for a perfect fit depending on your application. No big deal at all.

Absolutely awesome and simple mount. Superior to the one supplied with my Garmin Chartplotter which broke, I suspect, from ocean wave pounding. This is solid, stays where it's swiveled too and very easy to unmount the chartplotter for trailering. Best mount ever for a great price.

The product may be a five out of five but I won't know until I get caught in some bad weather. I am using it for my fish finder in use with my bow mounted trolling motor. I have used them before and they have always functioned as advertised.

Awesome quick release mount for my fish finder!

Works great to pivot and hold the depth finder. Just what I wanted. It was a perfect fit per the chart for my unit. Easy install and allows you to remove without removing screws for safe transport or storage.

I wanted to install a new fish finder at the bow of my boat. But the sonar's bracket only swiveled up and down. The Johnny Ray swivel mount lets me position the sonar in any position to let me see the screen whether I'm standing or sitting. Seems very sturdy and has very distinct clicks for position. And I like that with a push of a button, I can take the screen off the boat quickly.

Had to open up the holes slightly, but otherwise holds my helix 7 nicely making it quick and easy for me to attach/detach my unit whenever I need to.

This is the third Johnny Ray mount I've bought, which should say something! I've tried a RAM mount but they are a pain to use if you need to frequently rotate your finder. While the Johnny Ray doesn't allow you the range of movement that a RAM mount does, I find it to be more stable (less bounce) and rotating your finder is simple as can be. Just make sure you buy the correct one to fit the mounting holes for your unit.
