Better than I expected for the price!
Received the THOR Manufacturing TH750-S and the unit is packaged very well with a lot of information. I was using a different brand that died and this unit seems to be performing over it's rated Thor TH750 750 Watt Power Inverter specifications as I replaced a 1000 watt inverter. I have already placed 800 watts on this unit and it handled it with no issues! The unit is running fine with little heat and so far I am impressed with how it is performing. I will keep using it and follow up with my long term results but so far so good!

Fan died, inverter can’t carry a simple load
I was a big fan of Thor but now I am not. The fan on this inverter is loud and comes on inappropriately. Then it died after less than a year’s use. I have plenty of power, it’s a sunny day and it can’t run a simple low wattage appliance without beeping. I switched to another inverter (300W) and it’s carrying the load just fine without the fan coming on. Too bad the quality has really faultered in this brand. I was a devoted customer.

Do Not Waste Your Money!!!
This piece of garbage made a loud pop and smoked and that was the end of it! I just threw it away and ordered a different model! It was brand new when this happened! I didn't send it back because i opened it to see what happened and figured they would tell me tuff luck you opened it. Bottom line don't get this model!

Thor just said it was a bummer that I never tested it.
Had this for 4-5 years now in my emergency kit in my garage and never used it. Well the day the power went out I hooked it up to keep my computers running so I could finish helping a customer online.Well when I hooked it up to my UPS it would not work. To test it I hooked it to a fan and you could tell that the voltage wasn't correct the way it was running.Measured the voltage and it was only 85v.Thor just said it was a bummer that I never tested it so they couldn't do anything for me. Not a scratch on the unit or even a mark on the battery clamps, but it doesn't even work good enough for a paper weight. :-(
