1/4" 3/8" Thread Rod Clamp Rail Block for 15mm Rod DSLR Rig Rail System Follow Focus

Very affordable rail block. I haven't actually needed it on the job just yet, but I'm sure I will find a need for it soon. And for that price, it pays to have at least spare one of these in your bag. I did try it when I first received it and it works fine. Nice and lightweight too.

This little bracket does the job well. It's solid, slides nicely on my rails, and the ratcheting thumb screw feels like quality construction.There's only one reason I didn't give it five stars, and that's that the distance between the two rail slides is a tad bit wider than spec, about a millimeter long. I can fit it on my rig just fine, but if I try to slide it up against any of my other components it binds. This little jig works perfect. I'm not sure why people are bringing up the fact that it only locks on one side. It makes know difference, it locks and it locks well. I am using a 7" monitor on it with batteries on the back and it doesn't budge. It does exacly what it is supposed to do.

It's solid enough, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that it only tightens on one side. For 10 bucks it will do the job that I purchased it for.. but I should have thought about it more, as another reviewer said.. strictly light duty. Nothing special, nothing terrible. 3 stars.

Terribly made. The threads are thin and cheap, and the tightening gauge snapped off on the first turn. Avoid.

Look carefully. There's only ONE side that can be tightened. I was planning to use 2 of these to lower a 2nd set of rods down on the front end of a camera and mount a small teleprompter rig to them. But then I realized it won't tighten on both sides. Well, that means this is only useful if it is laid out horizontally on your rails. And even then if it's something that may get some torque or tension, this is not going to be the best thing to hold it in place because there's only 1 SCREW. I kept them because they were inexpensive, but for practical purposes these are not the best option in every circumstance unless it's very light duty stuff you want to mount on your rig.

A great option for the price. Nothing unusual to report. The fact that it doesn't lock onto both rods could, I suppose, be a problem for some people, but it definitely fits tightly, while still not being difficult to slide in. If price is a concern, I think this is the best overall option on Amazon.

This bracket does the trick. I have had other adapters to try and hook my monitor up, but my monitor always came loose with the magic arm and the adapter that was supposed to work didn't. This bracket does an awesome job! with keeping the monitor secured and tight so your monitor doesn't become loose and fall .
