Sturdy, light weight, sharp looking top case but hardware to attach it is not included
Installs quickly and easily with either universal adapter for an existing rear luggage rack - or a separate Givi adapter bracket designed for your specific bike. The hardware to attach the case it is a separate item. Keep in mind if you don’t already have a rear luggage rack and can use the easy-to-acquire universal adapter for that, you will need the Givi bracket designed for your specific bike. And if your bike is no longer in production (like mine) it might be harder to find the custom bracket for you specific bike. That was the situation for me, and no one seemed to have the Givi bracket in stock for the case for my bike - but fortunately I had a luggage rack already on my bike - and the universal adapter for that worked fine.I get it that Givi can’t know which bike you have or if you have a luggage rack or not - so making the hardware to attach the case a separate item kind of makes sense. But why they need to charge so much for it is another question.Holds 2 full face helmets. And some other gear. It’s totally fine in the rain. It’s lockable (including being locked onto the bracket so people can’t just come up and pop it off) and easily removable with the key. It comes with 2 keys. You can (for extra $$) also get a kit to wire some LED’s into the case to add brake lights, or get a pad to screw onto the back of the case so a passenger can more comfortably lean against the case. You can also get a Givi duffel shaped like the case that fits exactly inside it for traveling with some clothing, etc. That duffel is nice but it’s very expensive. I just use a duffel of my own. When riding with this case on the dynamics for my particular bike were fine. No real issues. I amAble to ride at highway speeds it’s very secure. But then again no one is going to track day with this case on the back. The only time I notice the case at all is if it’s very windy and some gusts blow over you. But it’s minor. It’s rated to hold 22 pounds of stuff in addition to the weight of the case itself. I would not recommend loading it up with more than that.I deducted 1 star for these reasons. The cost is high for the mounting hardware sold separately. The universal bracket just to attach to a luggage rack is $75 - for a plastic frame and some screws. And this is on top of the already expensive cost of the case. And get ready to fork over a lot of money for any other accessories for the case. Also there is no liner of any kind in the case it’s just raw plastic. For the money it should at least have a liner in the bottom. But in general I would say this is a secure, well made case from a company that knows what it is doing. It installs easily and works great. Adds significant secure storage space to your bike and looks pretty good more or less, if you don’t mind a big round case on the back of your bike.

Get one! You won't be sorry!
Best investment you can make for a motorcycle. I waited and waited and finally found one of these beauties on sale. I know the reputation that GIVI has and I had absolutely no problems spending the money on this one. For me, this is the perfect size box. I don't usually store my helmet in it, so that's not an issue either. IF you have a small helmet and are creative, you can put two inside of this box. One has to be standing up and the other on its side with the top of the helmet facing outward. I wear a 2XL helmet, so it's not happening lol.Box stays dry as a bone. The new latching system on this box is genius. Put in the key, press the button, and lift the lid. No more latch to handle with your hands which are probably full of gear to pack into the box. Then to close, take and press the lid, then remove the key. Now there is one thing you need to remember, you can take the key out of this one with the box open. So then you open yourself up to accidentally locking your key inside. Why would you put your key in the box? I'm not sure but I've seen it happen. So the rule that I exercise for myself is, Always leave the key in the lock until the box is closed. This one does not have the famous red document holder in the lid. Some tape and a ziploc fixed that for me. With the proper GIVI mounting plate, it snaps on and off with the push of a button. The way the handle is made, you could manage to pack this into a hotel or wherever as your luggage, but mine always stays on my bike. Several times I've been able to cram this thing full of an endless amount of things.Going on a road trip next week so I really get to pack it tight. I've been through plenty of thunderstorms with it and of course it stays bone dry on the inside. I also upgraded and got the luggage rack for the top of the box. Going to be perfect for mounting my tent and sleeping bag for the trip.Overall, this box is perfect! The silver matches my BMW F798GSA Perfectly. (Yes there is such a thing, just ask)Get one! You wont be Sorry!

Very well built. Easy installation.
I would have rated this 5 stars, but it states that it will fit 2 helmets, but it doesn’t unless you try to squeeze them in and shut the lid down real hard. Other than that, it is a nice trunk.

Sufficient For Needs
The general finish is still good but the interiors just aren’t what they used to be. No document pocket for instance. Maybe it’s the step up in size but the lid and base seem flimsier than the previous 33 and 37 liter boxes I’ve had in the past. Still, a good quality unit if you have multiple cases for versatility and don’t want to change your mount plate.

A solid, spacious top case, with a couple of issues
I really like the look and capacity, but there are a couple of issues.Fist of all, I feel like the brake light kit should be included and installed at the factory. Making it a self installed add on feels like a money grab on an already super expensive top of the line case. Furthermore, the connection system is kind of odd with spring mounted electrical connectors. I'm not confident in the brake light's long term viability.Second, mine was missing one of the rubber washers used for mounting the case. Be sure to inventory prior to installation. I was so far along in the installation that I did not care to remove the entire thing and exchange it for a washer, but it did create a tiny bit of looseness going without.Third, the release to open the case is keyed with a separate push button. You should be able to remove the key with the case unlocked and just keep closed with the button latched, but you cannot. You have to lock the case in order to remove the key. If I'm with the bike, I don't necessarily want the trunk locked. While there are a couple of issues, the case is very sturdy and has an excellent look. The build quality is rock solid.

Hard sides, 35ltrs of storage.
Great portable luggage, not waterproof but comes with a cover to place over it. Lots of mounting points for easy fitting. Sturdy zips, not many quick access points so ideally used with a tank bag.

There's lots of room for items
It's the best back box I've bought, but should not have to buy fitting to put it on
