So, full disclosure I have had an MFA in painting and sculpture and used to teach art history...now I am getting an associates in design that includes a LOT of CAD and 3-D software classwork. I find these two books to be totally fascinating because of the systematic way they approach building vocabularies and design patterns for the parts of speech. I could easily see building these out as a library of essential design masses.....shoot, I may just do that and see what I can make them do.

a good source book for designers particularly architects to better understand what they are doing.

It doesn't explain the formation with words but give clear understanding of them. Plus give great idea of diagram work

This second book in the series, and hope they will make a third one. The book does an excellent job of explaining different design themes and builds up on the first conditional design book. Excellent size that fits in any students pocket, and can always be scanned to spark ideas, or tackle design problems.

Really nice book, well printed, and new. Pocket size perfect to take everywear. In content i love it because it helps me understand forms and it's posible variation better. I study architecture, so it's been a helpfull book.

True to size, came faster than expected!
