222 Fifth Lutece Square 16-Piece Dinnerware Sets

This 222 Fifth dinnerware is beautiful, durable and easy to care for. Found a few pieces and was looking for more. The price is very fair compared to other pieces I found and did not buy. It arrived well packed and in a timely manner. Getting it as a full set saved me time and money rather than searching for the pieces I needed one at a time. I can attest to the claim of dishwasher safe and microwave safe because I have used some other pieces for several months and they look new. Dinner plates were large for my dishwasher but we just raised the top rack and they fit fine now. Love the size of the mugs and the way they fit into my hand. Bowls are great for soup but also hold a nice piece of pie and ice cream. I use the salad plates as lunch plates. This is my everyday ware.

These appeared to be seconds. Some of the dish's had defective glaze. For the price they were not bad but they were not what I wanted so I returned them. The seller was very gracious and took the dish's back without any problems. I would not be afraid to purchase from this seller again.

Loved the dishes because I have had the round set for years but the packaging was awful. the bottom plate was cracked and a top bowl. would not order these again.

The initial response was great. The order was delivered in a timely fashion, but when the dishes were delivered by UPS Ground, the bottom dinner plate in two of the three boxes was broken. I contacted the seller immediately, offering to send pictures of the broken shards in the bottom of the boxes. I got an auto response, saying that a customer service rep would contact me within a few days. A week later, with no response, I called them. The person with whom I spoke asked me to provide photos, which I quickly did. She said that they would review the photos to determine what they would do about it. What, I'm going to intentionally break my wife's new dishes?A week went by with no response from them, and when I called again, the new lady acted as if they had never received my pictures. After I provided a reference number, she said she would send the pictures down to the warehouse to determine what would be done. After another week passed with no response, I called again, and she said that they were going to send the replacement plates, and that they would send a confirmation email with shipping data? That took another several days to materialize.Sorry for the long narrative, but in my opinion, there are two issues with this seller:1) It seems obvious that they need to revise their packing. The breakage was identical and severe in both boxes.2) In my opinion, their whole customer service experience needs to be revamped. Even the recording preceding the computer phone option sounds like it was recorded under duress. And each person with whom I spoke, though professional, sounded very unhappy and put out at having to speak to me.They eventually followed through, and provided exactly what was contracted for, but it was NOT a pleasant experience!

The set is more beautiful than the picture. They are fine china.I couldn't fine these beautiful pattern in the local store. I went to Bed and Bath,JcPenney and Macys. I am currently using Correlle and I was really peaky about the weight. Their weight is really good. Some tiny problems I found : 1-there are invisible and tiny scratches and imperfection at the bottom.( It is OK, because they china and fragile , they are not iron) and they are too small that I don't want to request for replacement.2- The price dropped( It is less than $1, but still is $) after I bought them. I hope Amazon has price match option.

Wow what a beautiful set of dishes. They're much nicer than I thought they'd be. The only thing I notice is that the color of the red is a brighter color than shown. It looks darker in the photo like a deeper red when in fact it's a much brighter color in the red spectrum. It will still look great in my deep red dining room. The plates are very large and will be festive for Christmas. I love the coffee mugs, the finger holes are large enough for even the biggest man to fit his fingers in. The soup/cereal bowls are perfect for soups or cereals.

This set is quite beautiful. It says it is porcelain but it feels substantial like stoneware. The only downside is that I bought two sets and there's some color differentiation between the two sets. (One set had very subtle demarcation between the light tan color and the white bottoms. The other set had a very distinct demarcation line)I also wish there were matching accessories available for purchase to match this set; for example, glassware, serving dishes etc. The colors were exact or at least pretty darn close to the pictures. All in all, this is dinnerware that is suitable for casual or more formal dining.

These are the most beautiful dishes and look really good in my China cabinet in the kitchen. I have used them a few times and they look great coming out of the dishwasher. The bowls are perfect for cereal and soup and the smaller red plates for a lunch. I looked at hundreds of sets of dishes and these were the ones I kept coming back to because of the colors and the square shaped plates. I ended up with two sets so I have a service for 8. I wish I could find glassware that goes well with these dishes now.
