The Best Synthetic For Mercedes Diesel
As I have a Diesel Mercedes Benz which uses DPF (diesel particulate filter) this lube oil is the recommended lubricant. It has very low ash and automatically making your exhaust filter last longer. Exhaust Filter in these cars are very high dollar price, so it is worth to pay a little high price for this oil than cheap price for oil that will let your DPF last short. The ESP on this oil mean: Exhaust System Protection. I recommend.

Great oil for my M57 335d and my Mk7 EA288 TDI
Good price and fast delivery, especially with Prime. I buy this for both my deleted 2011 BMW 335d and my DPF-intact 2015 Golf Sportwagen TDI as it meets both BMW LL04 and VW 507 specifications. I intend to run my TDI through the 162,000 mile Dieselgate extended warranty, as I've used it on a previous TDI with DPF with great results. I also trust it in the 3.0L I6 Bimmer, which has been remapped and puts 360/570 to the wheels on a heartbreaker Mustang dyno. Made in France, per the peel up label on the back. This oil has been around for a decade now and is well-proven in used oil analyses submitted by myself and many others on sites like BITOG. There are worthy competitors since released by Motul, Pentosin, Liqui-Moly and Pennzoil, with some now just slightly exceeding the excellent properties of ESP, but for the price, I see no reason to switch from this benchmark euro-rated fully synthetic oil. You really can't go wrong with it.

Don’t spill it expensive oil
This oil is hard to find in stores , this is the only reason I ordered on line fair price compared to auto stores . Expensive oil for sure

Best Low-SAPS oil available on market!
Although BMW oil is actually cheaper in dealership ($7.85 per liter) I went with this product. Reason is that specifications on Mobil1 Product sheet is probably the best among Low-SAPS oils. This oil meets BMW LL-04 but also meets VW 504.00/507.00 which means even lower phosphorus and sulfated ash content which again means longer life of Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). If you think this oil is too thin, think again. Euro 5W30 oils are on very thick side, borderline to be 5W40 oils. This oil's kinematic viscosity at 100c is 12.2, and HTHS (most important number for turbo owners) is 3.58cp. That is not far from Motul X-Clean 5W40 which has HTHS of 3.64. I did not notice any difference between this oil and BMW OEM oil (Shell). I started my BMW X5 35d at temperatures as low as -10f and no any sound from engine that indicates slow flow of oil. Car which sees high rpm's is driven 2000 miles and more per month, and sees a lot of mountains roads here in Colorado and engine does not consumes a drop of oil. If you need VW 504.00/507.00 (new VW TDI engines), MB 229.51 (Mercedes Benz diesel engines), BMW LL-04 (BMW diesel engines) or Jeep diesel engines (3.0 V6) look no further.

Great seller and great value
Great seller and great value. This oil meets VW standard for new DPF diesel vehicles. Almost 40% cheaper than at ManyMoeJack aftermarket superstore and not available at my local ick WallyWart. Once warranty is out will use Mobile 1 Delvac ESP 5-40 which has not been tested against VW standard but I have been using M1 TDT for years in all the 50501 VW and have great results. I change oil every 5000 miles maximum regardless of the manufacturers assurances of longer drain intervals.

This is not the original Formula 5-30 with 0.6 sulphated ash
Disappointed that Mobil has done away the “Formula” on the label and raised the ash to 0.8. Their website still shows both labels but they are now both 0.8 ash oils.
