The only novel missing from this collection is the Little Sister, which is a shame as you would, otherwise, have a complete collection of novels in one edition. However, as a collection, you could not be dissappointed as the writing is superb. Chandler elevates crime writing to an art and is universally admired by a diverse range of writers across the world. For anyone familiar with Raymond Chandler, you will do well to buy this omnibus edition and re-read the novels. I have read them all several times, but never cease to get something new at each reading, that keeps them fresh and always gripping in the sense that they never fail to keep your attention; they are not edge of your seat thrillers, so much as worlds in which to immerse yourself. Readers unfamiliar with Chandler, if there are any left, would do well to buy this book and discover something special. Really, this is not to be missed and perfect for anyone who enjoys reading.

Well bound compilation of Raymond Chandlers best works. Superb, hard boiled and entertaining detective fiction. I have always liked Philip Marlowe.
