Worked great in a dark closet that I was always wanting to add a light. Went this route & it turned out to be a awesome solution.

I have a small cabinet area next to my fridge which has a black microwave on top. However, there is no lighting in that area. Going from a white microwave to a black one, I never considered the buttons on the black microwave also being black and being difficult to see. I had been searching on and off for the perfect light that would fit on the wall at the end of one side of the microwave but fit beautifully when the upper cabinet door opened. This light is perfect in size, dimension, location, and I love that it has a motion sensor which works fantastic. It took me only a couple minutes to screw into the wall. My daughter and son-in-law who came this morning were highly impressed with it. I recommend it highly.

We purchased this to place in a closet that did not have a light. It was incredibly easy to mount and I really like the motion sensor feature. It was brighter than I expected but in a good way. When we have had similar products in the past they are very dim, but this gives off a good amount of light.

This motion light has worked out very well. It is battery operated and motion activated. It's very convenient for stepping out into the dark garage without turning on the overhead light or opening the garage door until ready to leave. Our first one has lasted nearly 10 years and we were very happy to recently find a replacement on Amazon!

Second purchase. First unit's motion detection failed and would not turn off. Submitted an exchange and this one has been working well and past the initial unit's life. Just a bad first unit but these work really good and they don't take a boat load of batteries like the others on Amazon.

I bought this to place in my bathroom for a little extra light. There are two other lights and neither is positioned near the mirror. However, I discovered that in motion detection mode, it is perfect for middle of the night bathroom trips as it comes on the second I open the bathroom door, it isn't blinding bright, and doesn't disturb my room mate. Because it is so easy to hang, and lightweight, I find if I need emergency lighting when the power goes out, I can easily move it to whatever room I am in. It's even better than I thought!

[See update below.]Got this to replace a smaller USB-recharged LED light strip that failed after several years of use. Totally solid product and motion sensor is great. I used four corners of poster putty to mount it rather than the included screws—so far, so good.As others have mentioned, it’s not quite as bright as I would have guessed. (Maybe 3x a standard nightlight.) But I’d rather have softer light than harsh light, so thumbs-up overall.UPDATE: The motion sensor on this light has failed within a year. It now stays on all the time, even in sensor mode, in a motionless closet. Warranty involves mailing it to Oklahoma at my expense, which might be almost as expensive as buying another light. A bummer—when it worked for the first several months, it was great!

My daughter lives in a dorm that was built over 100 years ago. The closet space is amazing but it’s a dark cavern. She used her phone to shine light every time she went in it. This year I found this light. I added 3m Velcro to the back so it could be easily taken down for a battery change. We placed it halfway down the wall in her very tall closet and it provides a perfect amount of light. The whole closet isn’t shining like you have an overhead light but there is plenty of light that she can see what she needs to get. Also it comes on with motion so every time the door opens it’s on and being helpful. I’m sure there are brighter solutions somewhere but for the price and need and for a temporary solution it’s perfect.
