Great collection of practical games to reinforce concepts and facts.

Games?
The games were not what I was expecting. I was hoping for pages I could just photocopy for the games. These games have to be created by you. So they have lots of great ideas, it’s just not easily ready for you to use.

This book makes so much sense. How can you build a house without a solid foundation? I'll get so much use out of these games this school year. I love the focus on strategies versus timed tests and memorization.

Great reading and great games
I bought this book after watching one of Bay-Williams webinars. Well worth it. I'm an Elementary Math Instructional Coach and have been using several of her quick games in my teaching. Students look them and they really reinforce needed skills.

Best Book on HOW to Teach Math Facts
I'd recommend every elementary school math teacher and most middle school math teachers to own this book. Math facts fluency is as core to math as decoding is to reading but it's been lost in a lot of classroom. Dr. Williams guides how to teach math facts in an engaging, personalized way that will make those facts STICK!
