EcoverFabric Softener Liquid, Morning Fresh, 32 Ounce

I do not have a fabric softener dispenser on my washer but this stuff is worth remembering to listen for the rinse cycle! I am leaning more towards eco-friendly products and this is a wonderful compliment to Charlie's Laundry Soap. I wanted something to help control static and this does the job. It has a light and natural fragrance. The scent is clearly there but not strong at all and definitely not perfume/artificial scent. I feel like I'm in a laundry commercial when I hold clothes up and actually smell them. It's funny but it also is a testament to a fine laundry product.My technique is to wash with Charlie's soap in cold water only. When it's time for the rinse cycle, I take a 12 ounce jam jar filled 3/4 of the way with warm water and add desired amount of Ecover. I use between half and full cap myself. Pop the top on the jar, give it a shake and pour it into the rinse water. Voila, simple and satisfactory performance. Using such a small amount of product from a 32 ounce bottle, this will last quite a while.I have never been a fan of fabric softener before but gave this a try to replace dryer sheets for static control. Also to give natural scent where my detergent is fragrance free.

I bought this because (1) I don't like the way my towels get less fluffy if I don't use fabric softener, and (2) this product is one of the few on the Environmental Working Group list that isn't unhealthy. Note there are even fewer fabric softeners that are liquids that go in the washer, and thus get washed out rather than contaminating the next load in the dryer. I was worried about the scent, as we are mostly an unscented household. It actually is kind of pleasant and not overbearing (even used in a hot garage in summer). Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the scent dissipates after the dryer. I have not compared this product to vinegar, nor have I tried it for an extended period.

While eco-friendly products will never make clothes as soft as commercial brands, this fabric softener does a pretty decent job in giving clothes some softness. I personally did not felt that adding an extra cap improves softness (as stated on the bottle). Since I started using it, I did not noticed any static on my clothes. They are also easy to iron.I appreciate the rather mild scent, that does not linger too much on clothes.I have sensitive skin and this did not cause me any issue. I try to keep as environmental safe as possible and this product had good recommendation on sites evaluation ingredients.Price wise, it's not the most cost fabric softener.

This stuff works great! I poured half a capful in the fabric softener dispenser and voila -- soft, scented laundry. I've been moving towards plant-based products and the Ecover Fabric Softener delivers. I also like the small bottle, making it easy to store. My teenage daughter, who is not fond of most fabric softener scents, loves the "Morning Fresh" variety. It also helps make folding clothes easier. This is very strong smelling, not bad, just very pungent. It does the job as a fabric softener and I like it, but I'm certainly not going to buy it when the Seller has hiked the price by $3 since last week. I can go to Whole Foods and pay less for it ...and that's saying something because they're a huge rip off!

Eh. I do not notice a real softness or nice smell, but perhaps it is unreasonable to expect too much from a more natural product. I have been a Downy user my whole life, so it is taking some getting used to, but I do appreciate this company offering this product at a reasonable price compared to some of the other natural fabric softeners.

I wanted an natural softener that will leave my laundry smelling pleasant. I know I cannot expect any strong, lovely scent like with those chemical drugstore brands. But I wanted to smell at least something, to have a feeling of freshly washed and clean clothes. Unfortunatelly this Ecover fabric softener did not deliver. It makes fabric softer than without any softener, yes, but I cannot smell any fragrance no matter how many caps I put.After my disappointment and getting mad that I spent so much money on this, I gave one more chance to natural laundry products and ordered The Laundress Signature Detergent and Fabric Softener. They are in similar price range as Ecover and I can smell a nice light scent of santal wood. Yes! When I use both the Laundress detergent and softener, the scent lingers on the fabric for several days. I finally found what I was looking for...

I had kind of been excited when I found this fabric softener and read the reviews. It is very pricey for the amount of product you receive. I tried using just 1 capful of it in a normal load of wash and it really didn't soften anything. I added 2 capfuls and it was much better. For the price, it is a waste to use 2 capfuls. Bought it, tried it but, will not be buying it again. Go through too much and will be needing to get more fabric softener quicker then normal.
