I've tried numerous brands of LED tap lights for various reasons, determined to find the best, and this is one of them. A+!!!
I have a HUGE network of shelving and closets throughout my house, as well as tons of display shelves. When I first bought these, I intended them for seemingly the universal usage that is a pre-requisite, and that is to light up my closets. LOL But the very first day I got these and felt for myself how light weight and bright they are, I decided to start buying them for the nicest of my collector shelves. I display quite a few statues and collectibles, but sometimes, depending on the when and the where they are, the shelves just don't get enough light. Enter these bad boys, and that problem is SOLVED. I stick one of these to the underside of the shelf I want to illuminate, and it's bright enough to light up the entire inner box of the shelf, and everything on it too. There are other brands, and they all work honestly. Some are larger, some more expensive, some a tad brighter. I like these because they are the perfect balance between cost and functionality. I get three for less than ten dollars, and you will be AMAZED at how long they last. I have recently purchased more, as more of my shelves needed lighting. I am pleased to report that my old lights are still every bit as bright as the new ones, and that is after YEARS. I have NEVER had one lose power from the bulb going bad, though sometimes I have to replace the triple A batteries. They are more than bright enough to read by, or to navigate a completely dark house for that matter. I buy the tiny key chains of these as well for friends and family, and they work like a charm. ( Super Bright LED Keychain Flashlight ) Flat out bottom line, these things do JUST what they say they will, and that's all I ever expect from my products. Give them a try, and I know you won't be disappointed. Thanks so much for your time folks. Sincerely, R.A. McDowell

LIGHT IT by Fulcrum 30010-301 LIGHT IT 3 LED Wireless Stick-on Tap Light, 3-Pack, Silver
Electric power can go out at any time. The reason I purchased these was I was afraid of sitting on the throne in my bathroom at night and then the electric power goes out. I hate when that happens. So I permanently fixed that possible problem with the purchase of these lights. These lights are very affordable, which means you can afford to put them up in any place that you need them. You also do not have to mount them anywhere, you can simply lay them down on your table or desk or any flat surface that is most convenient to you. Doing it this way makes it easy to carry your light around with you too. As to my bathroom solution here's what I did: I purchased 2 packs of 3 of these lights. I decided it would be awesome to make them glow in the dark to be able to find them in the dark so I could turn them on. So to do this I also purchased some Ultra Green V10 Glow in the Dark Paint 2Oz from amazon, some DecoArt DCA01-9 Crafters Acrylic, 8-Ounce, White, and some clear coat acrylic seal paint. Also some cheap kids watercolor paintbrushes. To begin I inserted Amazonbasics rechargeable batteries into 3 of the lights to test them to make sure they worked, and all did work. Next step I gave all 3 lights 2 coats of the DecoArt DCA01-9 Crafters Acrylic, 8-Ounce, White, allowing each coat to dry before going to the next step. Next step I gave all 3 lights 2 coats of the Ultra Green V10 Glow in the Dark Paint, and also allowed each coat to dry before re-coating them. Next step I finished off my painting by giving them a coat of clear coat acrylic seal paint and letting them fully dry. Having ceramic tile in my bathroom made attaching them to my walls an easy job. I purchased some peel and stick velcro from Amazon and used that. Then I affixed 2 of the 3 lights in easy reach of my toilet, one on either side of the paper dispenser and also another one right next to my bathroom light switch. Problem solved. No further cost involved, I just recharge the batteries. Since my initial purchase of these lights I have re-ordered them a couple of times. I like them that much.

Good lights just cheaply made as to be expected with the price.
These lights are bright enough for most places, but are very cheaply made, hence the price point. You can't beat the price but don't expect much quality. After sticking one up onto the ceiling all it took was one press on for the plastic lens to crack in the center of the light. You would think they would have better plastic. The adhesive doesn't stick for very long. After having it stuck onto the ceiling for 2 weeks it fell to the cement floor and cracked the side. This time I used crazy glue to mount it and it is sticking just fine now. If you are looking for something to light up the area and is cost efficient than these are the way to go. For quality your best to spend a bit more, but these do the trick.

Would get five stars is the adhesive worked
I would give these five stars if the adhesive worked. But since it doesn't, I can only give three stars (and I think that's very generous). I purchased three different brands of tap lights to try. I am using them in a closet where I keep all of my paper and craft supplies. There is no light in the closet, so I wanted some lights I could use as needed when I wanted to see the difference between shades of paper or to find smaller items. Out of the package I loved these - they are small but bright! No dim areas in the middle of the light beam (which some brands had from the spacing of their bulbs). I put them up in the closet and they were great - until I looked the next morning. The adhesive did not work on my walls, so both of the lights I'd put up had fallen to the ground. One survived (it landed two feet down on a cardboard box). The other did not - the four foot drop onto carpet was just too much for it. The light works, but the back will not stay on since the tabs that hold the back on broke off on impact. These do not have a screw mount option so they are fairly useless to me since I can't mount them. I'm hoping I can use the two that did not break as spare flashlights in case of a power outage, but the broken one is a dud since, even though the light works, the back will not stay on so the batteries are exposed.

Would not recommend for use under kitchen cabinets
We bought a couple packs of these. We knew they were cheap, and we needed something to put under our kitchen cabinets that would light up without putting too much wiring in. Overall, this product was precisely as described and held up well, which merits the five-star rating. That being said, be smart about where you plan to use these. IF YOU PLAN TO USE THESE UNDER KITCHEN CABINETS In one word: Don't. When put under kitchen cabinets, it became a pain trying to remember EXACTLY where you stuck the light, and reach under each cabinet to push them on (rather than with a remote or switch). For this reason, I would NOT recommend this product for the same use, unless it was temporary. For example, if you are looking to sell your home, and want to add nice touch to an overall picture, it suits that purpose beautifully. It can be a pain to turn them all on individually, but it's definitely worth the price to attract buyers. If you are planning to stay in your home for a while to come, cough up the extra money and buy something nicer than these that you can turn on/off all at once.

Loving them so far!
These lights have been great so far! They use 3 AAA batteries (not included) and have 3 LEDs that provide great lighting for what we needed - we're using them mounted under the cabinets next to our bed as a nightlight. We just use them to take care of little things as we're getting into bed but don't want to get up to turn off the room or master bathroom light after we've gotten into bed. The lifespan of these is supposed to be about 100 hours so we don't expect to leave them on for hours on end. We also realize that they are not meant to be super-bright to be used as regular lighting but these provide a very solid amount of light! Also, the double-sided tape has been holding up wonderfully for the weight of the light plus the 3 batteries. Like I said, so far so good! Only thing more I would love is if they had an automatic shutoff option so that we don't fall asleep with them running all night. I know there are more expensive versions out there with that option but wasn't worth the price for us.

Cheap, Works Well, Convenient, Would Buy Again -- but you need to know the issues.
I used these in a custom closet build-out that I crafted because they were cheap and I figured if I could get away with using something cheap that didn't require me to run new electrical all over the place, I should -- since I don't use the lights in this situation much anyway. PROS: - Cheap - Works well - Good light if you don't use it a lot - Easy to install CONS: - Cheaply made - Light dims quickly - Falls off of surfaces that aren't perfectly smooth - Sucks battery juice quickly Bottom line is, I would buy these again. They work well, and as advertised only require a gentle tap to turn them on and off. I also like them because I can use them situationally -- for example, if I only want them on in the top center tie box and the two sides, plus only the top rack in the shoe rack, I can do that, instead of turning the whole system on. If I only want to leave the tie box light on for atmospheric light at night, I can do that instead of getting blazing light coming out the closet. If I want to see the whole bloody thing lit up, it's gorgeous, but I don't leave it like that for very long. The lights are bright -- at the beginning, for the first maybe 20 hours of use. The next 40, they're considerably dimmer. After that, they're specks of light. I'm still trying to burn out a puck, and it hasn't died yet (well over 100 hours at this point) but I can barely see it anymore. They also mount easily, with a circle of double-stick foam tape in the back -- problem is, it's not a high strength tape and if you're mounting it to a surface that isn't completely smooth, the whole puck will fall off once in a while. I solved that problem by using strips of a high-strength mounting tape. If they fall off and hit the ground though, the housing will crack -- and can be superglued back together easily. One trick I learned is to rotate the lights. They have a bottom mounting surface, and then the actual puck light mounts onto that by inserting and twisting. As the lights you use most dim out, just twist them out and replace them with the ones that you barely use, and you'll maintain brightness where you want it for longer. I also maintain a few battery chargers, so once in a while when the lights start getting dim, I throw them in the charger and replace them with fresh ones. Constantly buying new AAA's would be prohibitive. You can also color the lights, like an oldschool color filter, to get a warmer light. I tried it with a thick orange sharpie to get a warmer color temperature, but eventually I just scrubbed it off because I liked the look of the cooler color temperature better (in the picture). You also need very even coverage with no darkened lines or it'll show up in the beam. These lights are cheap, but they work for what I need them to do, are easily replaceable, and I will buy these again.

Mixed Quality but at the price I got'em I can care less..
I bought 2 sets of these led lights for a closet hallway. The sets at the time were $2/set. So I thought why not? Glad I bought 2 because as you can see from the video, one of the sets were dull for some reason. Using the same batteries and bought from the same buyer. And they look exactly the same. So I'm not exactly sure why there is such a difference in quality. Also on the "good" set, one of the lights has a bulb thats out. Though even with the one bulb out its still like 5x brighter than the dull set. Granted I was using generic AAA batteries, so If they were name brand maybe it would have made a difference... Maybe not. Can't really review them on longevity, or the stickers "stickiness" but they were all easy to turn on and off. And one set was super bright. I'm somewhat satisfied, paid $9 w/shipping for all 6. Kinda wish I bought 4 sets seeing how they jacked up the price 3x since I bought them last week. Overall I think it was a good deal (For me). But @$6 for a set of 3 you might get, the "Good", the "Bad" or maybe even the "Ugly"(DOA). Good Luck.

Product does not appear sturdy at first glance
Product does not appear sturdy at first glance. Have just started using it, so onlytime will tell. Also there were no markings to tell the orientation of batteries in the slots.
