Excellent.
Shipped fast to my door, packaged well, and looks brand new. Took me 10 minutes to install, just take off the panel trim (you need to take the shifter out of park to do this) and plug it in. I thought this replacement would fix the fan speed setting that didn't work on number 4, but it didn't. I looked on a couple forums, found out the the resister is the culprit, and if your truck has lots of miles, I would replace the blower motor too since a worn blower motor will demand more volts and burn out the resister prematurely. However this item looks great and I have all my lights working on the climate control!

Functions as it should and looks more or less the same.
It has all the same controls as the original. The only negative that I have is that the plastic face is lightly warped in places. It looks as though the mold that they made it in wasn't as exacting as it should have been. The new one compared to the old is just not the same on the face. The face of the original is much smoother. It is almost like there are dimples in the new one where there should be none. The above detracts in no way from the function. Unless you really look at it you will more than likely not notice. The average Joe would not notice unless told.I rate 5-stars based on the delivery, next day, and the functionality of the unit. It is 99% like the original in form and function. I hope to not have to purchase again for many many years but I would buy it again if I had another truck in need.

Works good, plug and play but there's other cheaper options that are also reman by Dorman
I thought I purchased it directly from ac delco and when it arrived the label said Dorman. But looking back at the pics in the description, the was clearly a Dorman label in the photos

Plug and Play easy
I bought this heater control for my wife's 2004 Tahoe. It couldn't have been easier to swap this one in for the old one that came with the car. Installation required pulling the dash cover off which is very easy to do. It's only held on with simple clips so it's just a matter of grabbing hold of the cover (it's the large plastic piece that surrounds the instrument cluster, radio and climate controls) and giving a firm tug. It's kind of like pulling a very snug tupperware lid off a container, start in one corner and work your way around till it's off. You will have to tip the steering wheel down as far as it will go and put the car in 1st gear to get the gear shift out of the way and then you'll be able to get the dash cover off the dash. Actually changing the climate control panel requires removal of two 7mm hex head screws. The controls will come free of the dash at that point and then you will need to disconnect two wire-harness connectors off the back of the control unit. Again, very easy. To install the new unit you will re-connect the wire harness', attach the controls back to the dash with the screws you took off and pop the dash cover back on. Putting the dash cover back on requires lowering the steering wheel back down and putting the car back into 1st gear. Re-installation of the dash cover is a little trickier than pulling it off but only because you have to get the instrument cluster section back in place first before you can get the rest of the cover in place. If you're doing this project in winter I would suggest heating the car up till it's nice and toasty so that the plastic is more pliable. I would be concerned that it might crack if you try to wrestle it off the car when it's stone cold. Getting the cover re-secured should be as simple as gently tapping it into place with the heel of your palm. Plan on 30-60 min. start to finish to do this project.

Price ok, part defective.
Did not work, full heat no matter the temp setting. Returned for refund, company was apologetic and gave me no hassle even though it was an electrical part.

Beware, the one I received did not work correctly
Works better than the non functional one that was in my truck, but does work work correctly. My AC works fine now but as I installed it during heat wave did not realize heat would only partially come on. Too late to return this junk before I realized it's faults. Says OEM but think it is a second or remanufactured as it does not work correctly. Easy to remove old un it and install new one.MAKE SURE you check and double check all functions as soon as it is installed so you don't get stuck like I did.

fits perfect and works like it should
This was a direct replacement for a faulty control. Looks brand new, fits perfect and works like it should. Definitely recommend, purchase with confidence, and a great price.

Indicator alignment bad.
Knob indicator for fan speed doesn't line up with the numbers. For the price, that's BS.
