Archiology Wood Tripod Floor Lamp, Mid Century Standing Lamp,Tall Contemporary Floor Lamp with Black Drum Shade and E26 Lamp Base,Perfect for Living Room, Bedroom, Study Room and Office

I have been looking for a tripod lamp with a black shade for awhile, this one was easy to put together and looks really nice in my living room. Other lamps I was looking at had metal legs, now that I have it set up I am really glad I ended up getting this one instead.

Very good quality for the price with exceptional fit and workmanship to all the pieces. My only disappointment is that the wood legs are completely unfinished. The wood is nice and smooth, but at least two shades lighter than those in the pics. I like the lamp enough that I'll keep it and stain the legs myself.

This lamp is made of balsa, maybe bamboo wood. I don’t know what the cheapest wood available to make lamps is but that’s what they used. If you have dogs that occasionally run into lamps, this one will break within a month. If you don’t have dogs that break lamps, you will have the distinct privilege of showing off a cheap looking lamp to your guests for years to come. It’s a lose/lose situation so just pony up and hit your local furniture or antique store to buy a quality lamp that will fit the aesthetic of your home. If you simply don’t care, this lamp is perfect. I would imagine this lamp going to a home where the occupants legitimately enjoy a wild night out on the town hitting up the gas station for a sugar free monster on the way to chili’s for a couple two for ones and then a night cap at the Cheesecake Factory. Honestly, the perfect home for this lamp is in a suburban cul-de-sac show house. So, if that’s your style, by all means proceed to purchase. It was easy to assemble because the manufacturer knew that anyone dumb enough (including myself) to purchase this piece of garbage couldn’t handle assembling a complicated item.

I bought this product because for my friends wedding. And it fit with his living room. He loved it.

What a crappy thing. The photo looks like a dark brown or brown black shade. It’s a cheap black thing. Bright wooden legs that aren’t sturdy at all. I’m actually laughing so hard I can’t be mad. Time to pack it up and return. Thanks no name crappy brand.
