Fits a tiny bit small, but very comfortable. Have lasted a long time.
I bought a half a size up, as that was recommended in some of the other reviews and I have kind of wide feet. They fit nicely. I like them because they don't look like the traditional steel toe tennis shoe or boot. I wish they were just a little higher at the ankle, but I suspect other people might like that. I work in an office, and they go well with my slacks, but look really good with jeans too.I have had my pair for two and a half years now. I love them. I only had one day where they hurt because I walked in them for 10 hours. But after that they seemed broken in. This last year, I noticed they are better if I wear thicker socks with them, but I haven't had to put an insole in them. I use them almost everyday, and after two years there is a lot of scuffing on the toes, but I could clean it up easily with some shoe polish, I think. I will buy this shoe again.

Look nice, fit well.
I work in an office, but we are required to wear safety shoes while on the shop floor, so I needed safety shoes that would work with office attire. These look nice with office clothes and also work with jeans on casual Friday. They seem to be very high quality. I wear a size 7.5 and these were true to fit for me. They seemed just slightly narrow at first (I do not have wide feet) but broke in well. I wear them for 8-10 hours per day and they are comfortable. Plan to buy a pair in brown also now that I know I like them.

Great, stylish, comfortable steel toe! (And that's hard to find!)
I've been wearing these shoes for 4 days now at work (8-10hr days), and the break in period has been a bit rough, but I'm loving them so far. I love the clog style! I can wear dress pants or jeans and still be stylish and compliant with our company safety policy. Ariat is always a good quality shoe, and I expected nothing less in these steel toes. No lies, the toes are a bit snug - but that's to be expected. I get about a 2" lift from these bad boys too! (Always a plus for a short girl.) It's hard to find steel toed shoes that don't look big, bulky, and well, "manly", so I'm glad I found these. I'll update in a few months as to how they hold up, but I expect they'll be great.***4 week update - No more pain! The break in period was tough, especially on my pinky toe on my right foot. I didn't go at it easy either, I wore them without any breaks or going back to my old shoes. So, I'd probably recommend doing some at home, short time frames, break in wearing. Shoes still look great. I did tear a piece of the leather from one side on something - maybe a table leg (angle iron?) - but a little superglue and polish and it looks good as new. No smell. No worn seams or raised insoles. Love them! If you're on the fence, buy them! You won't regret it.

Comfortable, durable, stylish!
I am 5'7", 162 lbs, wear size 8 shoes. I bought these a half size up in black, & a full size up in brown just to try different comfort levels. Brand new, the full size up was preferred and had room for my wool socks. I wore them all winter, inside on concrete floors for 8 hours, and outside in the snow. They were great and still are a year 1/2 later but the toes are really beat up so I stopped wearing them to work. They are my barn shoes now.The half size up, I absolutely LOVE this pair! Eight hours on my feet, in a warehouse and I do great! The height of this heel really helped my feet and they rarely ache. Thay are snug & warm with wool socks. My feet do not slip around and I even wear them on my daily lunch walk where I walk on a paved trail for 30 min power walking. I did get a callous where the edge of the steel is but I think any steel toe will do that, not certain.

C width is more narrow than expected
It's fine. Ariat's in a C width usually fit me, but this one runs narrow and will have to get it stretched. This one is snug where the stitching is across the top of the foot. Has nice support and heel and look nice. Difficult to find a good safety toe shoe for women that looks nice too. Has a slippery fabric at the heel so it's easier to put on than if it had just the leather.

Long lasting, great shoe!
I've had these shoes for over three years and they're still going strong, just a couple of scuffs where a slammed my foot into something. Love the steel toes! The sole gives a good grip even on slippery and wet surfaces. I like that I can quickly slip them on to run out for something and get them off easily when coming in with mud (or finding the unfortunate hidden poo), but they don't slide off my narrow heeled foot like most clogs when I walk. I do wear socks which helps. They haven't split, cracked, or come apart and the heels haven't worn down much which is something considering how much I wear them (practically everyday, walking all over town and doing yardwork). They don't seem to hold onto mud either, so you don't get a big clod of dirt attached to you too often. I would buy these again.

Do not choose these shoes
Terrible shoes! They strip the socks right off your feet in less than 5 minutes. I have never had this issue with any other steel toe shoes. Not sure if it’s the angle that your foot sits because of the heel or something on the inside of the shoe. I thought I was crazy but when I wore them to work and my officemate saw them and blurted out “those shoes are the worst”. she told me She had the same problem and ended up throwing them away. I have a hard time doing that because they were so expensive. So they just sit in my closet collecting dust. Save yourself some aggravation and Buy a different pair of shoes.
