Great compact changing pad
We are using a small vintage dresser as a changing table and were having a hard time finding a changing pad that didn't take up the whole dresser top. After a lot of looking, this is the most compact one I could find. It is soft, comes with screws to secure it to the dresser, and seems plenty big enough for 0-6 months. We plan to change the baby on the floor once they get very wiggly or outgrow this, so I think this will serve it's purpose well for us. I was surprised by the quality of the pad. It is really thick and nicely curved. It seems really comfortable for the baby. The cover is vinyl and it should fit most elastic changing pad covers. We plan to use the Carter's super soft dot cover.

Fits the Ikea Hensvik changing table top!
This changing pad was the only one on the market I could find that would fit our Ikea Hensvik changing table. When I was scouring the reviews on this product, at that time there was no mention of it fitting the Hensvik changing table specifically, just that it fit Ikea changing tables. Desperate to find one that would fit, I ordered this even though I hate returning items, and was so glad to see it could fit when it arrived! This changing pad is around 1 to 2 inches longer than the width of the table, but it is easily "scrunched" into the Hensvik changing table top attachment with ease. I was able to use this Summer Infant Ultra Plush Changing Pad Cover, Safari Summer Infant ultra plush changing pad cover (it really is as soft as they say!), so any pad cover could/should fit. I did read the negative reviews that state the holes in the changing pad make it hard to clean/unsanitary should accidents occur. I was able to easily remedy that by purchasing some Serta iComfort Premium Change Liners, White - 3 Count Serta iComfort premium change liners. I usually put one under the changing pad cover and then another over it, it comes in a 3 pack and I am good to go. If your changing table allows the space I would strongly recommend this Serta iComfort Premium Change Pad and Cover Sealy iComfort premium changing pad over this LA Baby one. We initially felt that one in store and upon bringing it home fell in love with how plush it was. Sadly, it would not come even close to fitting this changing table, no matter how much we scrunched it. I think it's approx 10 inches too long. So while I fully acknowledge this changing pad wouldn't be my first choice, I am very satisfied to have found the one changing pad that fit our changing table which we also love!

Baby LOVES this thing!
My baby LOVES this changing pad. I don't know what it is about it, but he is just so happy on this changing pad. I mean seriously - sometimes when he is crying I lay him on it and he stops crying. I don't know if it is the curved sides that "cradle" him or ??? This has a slick outer coating that is easy to wipe off. The outer fabric cannot be removed. I use normal "changing pad" covers by Summer Infant or Circo and they fit fine. This pad is slightly shorter than the other changing pads we looked at - which I wanted as my changing table (a small dresser) is a bit small for the other pads. I like the fact that all the edges of the changing pad are raised. This is especially nice when your kid pees on the changing table. This keeps all the pee on the changing pad instead of dribbling down off the end of the changing pad. It does make the effective length of the changing pad shorter. My huge 4 month old is too big to be contained in the flat part - his legs are beginning to climb up the end. This is fine though - you are lifting the kids legs for the diaper change anyways! The seatbelts are silly. We don't use them - we just don't leave baby unattended. Need another outfit from the closet - cool, pick up your baby and go get one. I can't imagine belting him in each time.

our favorite "baby care" item so far
I purchased this changing pad to use on a dresser that we converted into a changing station. I also purchased an off brand terry cover from a discount store. I thought we would get a little use out of it once baby moves into her nursery (she is sleeping in our room in a bassinet). Boy, was I wrong! We use this changing pad ALL THE TIME! We use it to change diapers, to take naps, to change clothes, etc. It is a nice, safe, soft, clean place to put baby down to do all of the above, and it is mobile (if you don't attach it to changing table). In fact, the only place I haven't used this pad is on the changing table! I have a nice terry cover on the pad all the time. I also have some waterproof pads that I put on the pad when I am changing diapers. The rest of the time, I just use the terry cover as a soft place to lay baby down. This is definitely the baby product that we have used the most, and I would argue that it is probably our favorite item so far. Worth every penny!

It fits a 29.5" space
I have a changing table/dresser with a tower on one side and and a hutch above. At first I ordered the Summer Infant changing pad with rubber feet and washable cover. I didn't even think to measure my space and see if it would fit first. I just figured that there was a standard size for changing tables and changing table pads. Much to my dismay, I got it out of the box and it didn't fit my table so I had to send it back! Then I did what I should have done in the first place and measured my space, then looked for something about 29.5." This changing pad fits exactly without being snug. Pros: It is the right size for smaller spaces 4 sides will hopefully prevent the baby from hitting it's head on the sides of the changing table It has two tabs with screws to secure it to the back of the changing table if needed Standard changing pad covers fit great Cons: Vinyl cover and straps are not removable for wash It slides easily when on a smooth wood surface. If you have a changing table with no rails, and you secure the pad to the back with the screws, it won't slide off the table forward, but could still tip backwards if the back is not against a wall. Perhaps gluing a rubber pad on the bottom could help with this issue.

I just didn't like that it was so shallow in the cut-out
It fits the Athena Daphne crib changing pad station, which is practically impossible to find!!! Others have commented and yes, the measurements are slightly different, but its marginal. It fits snugly with a terry cover, (you probably couldn't fit a towel and still tuck it in underneath though...) DOES NOT NEED TO BE CUT! and the soft sides raise up above the hard edge of the changing table, protecting your babies wiggling head, arms and heels from getting hurt, which is why I bought it. The pad that comes with the crib IS thin, but perfectly sufficient for an infant, I just didn't like that it was so shallow in the cut-out.

Fantastically useful even if you don’t own a changing table!
Worth it even if you don’t have a changing table. Major pros are: > Light & portable - easy to move around the house, though not travel-appropriate really. > Highly waterproof & wasteproof - nothing sticks to it; water runs right off. > Easy to clean - if it gets abused by the baby I literally just clean it in the sink with a sponge, dish soap, and the faucet. If it’s not bad stuff easily wipes off with a baby wipe or two. > Soft & comfy - very padded so I never feel like I’m putting my infant’s head on an uncomfortably hard surface even if I’m on the hard floor. > Curved edges are handy for multiple reasons - they catch urine so lil’ geysers don’t get everywhere (the obvious plus to this feature), but they’re also padded as well so you can prop a squirmy baby up on the edges for intensive cleaning or leverage during changing without worry (the unexpected bonus). In my view this has been an absolute lifesaver and one of the best baby buys I made, despite everyone doubting its usefulness since we don’t yet have a changing table. Well worth the price.

Great waterproof pad!
This changing pad is a must have! our son is 6 months old and has used it since he was a newborn. He’s currently 26” long. It fits perfectly in our IKEA changing table (the gullivan). I like that it has a safety buckle so that baby doesn’t roll away. The contoured walls are another great feature to keep baby in place safely. It is fairly easy to clean as well. We keep a changing pad sheet on it to make it comfortable for baby since the original cover is a waterproof plastic. We have had instances where he will pee or poo on the pad while changing him. All we have to do to clean up is to wipe down the pad. We’ve never had issues with the waterproof covering not doing it’s job. Definitely recommend this product!
