These projects are great lessons in physics. I remember physics in school and every Problem unblocked first neglecting a dozen different "losses". These projects show what can be gained from these losses, but much more. It's a mind-opening. creativity- stimulating and inspiring take on how many ways there are to solve a problem if you really want to dig deep. It's true that we're surrounded by energy that's free for the taking. The only problem is how many ways one can employ to reap this energy. Well, it's a fun start. A fun read and the projects aren't all easy but in theory, ... It's just amazing how creative people get when there's a need. I think more can be done in practice like some of these. I've got a few ideas myself, so I guess if you're a little zany yourself, you'll enjoy these zany ideas. Just think .....

Excellent well research informative book.~

One thing about Mr. Weigle's books, they are entertaining. He writes well with fairly easy to understand directions. Granted, I have NOT made anything from this publication but they sure look fun.
