Great for old school college kids
I’m one of those that prefers to have an actual book in my hands while studying and I love how small and well organized this is compared to trying to read it on a screen. Best investment for school I think

Wonderful book that can change your life.
I purchased this book for a counseling class I'm taking and right from the beginning it caught my attention and held it. This is a wonderful book that should be a must read for all Christian counselors and actually is very beneficial for everyone who is struggling with difficulties in life. It's one of those books that opens your eyes to a greater reality that has always existed but you just didn't know it was there. It has impacted my job, my family, my friends and overall my life. Excellent book to read.

You'll be glad you read this book.
This book was required for a counseling class and I must say I am so glad it was. I have found it to be very insightful and concise. It's very easy for authors to be verbose and vague. McMinn on the other hand gives you great counseling (and theological) information in a comprehensive and exciting way. If you like books that make you say, "Yes! That's so true" you should get this book.

Highly recommended!
McMinn does an excellent job getting passed the legalistic dualism of sin vs. grace and explains how sin and grace fit into the same Story that God has been telling ever since. A recommended, easy-to-read text for those involved in Christian Counseling and for those who simply want to learn about sin and grace on a deeper level and how these play a role in God's Story.

Great book!!
This book gave my pastor and I a respectful jumping off place with which we could wrestle with the concepts and respect could be brought in to a conversation about biblical counseling vs Christian counseling and all of the implications. Great book!

Excellent and refreshing!
I purchased this book as a recommended reading of the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). I was impressed right from the very beginning. Well written, well thought out, and extremely timely. This book will be a valuable resource for years to come. I would recommend it to every Christian Counselor, pastor, and anyone who wants to be a "safe place" for hurting people.

Required Text book!!!
I liked it because it went along with other textbooks that I was working from at the time. Great reading otherwise if you're a reader and are interested in Christian integration with counseling.
