I work with a monitor on my desk which doesn't turn around on its own, and I'm often picking it up to show people some thing or other on the screen . . . Well I finally thought 'isn't there something that could do that for me?' and now here we are with a monitor turntable. I didn't know this thingy existed but I sure am now. It's perfect and works just great. It swivels smoothly and quietly and sits there perfectly still when I'm not rotating it. What more could you ask?

We recently purchased an all-in-one computer/monitor. It is set up on our kitchen peninsula - between the kitchen and living room. I will oftentimes be sitting at the computer and want to show something to my husband in the living room, but turning the computer so he could see it was kind of a pain in the butt because it was heavy and awkward. So, I found this turntable and gave it a try. What a world of difference this has made! The base of the monitor stand fit on it perfectly. I was worried that it might be tipsy if the weight wasn't distributed just right, but it's not at all tipsy. It spins very smoothly and isn't noisy and doesn't "drag" at all. It came fully assembled and was quick and easy to put into place. Different sizes of these would be handy inside cupboards or closets too. I would definitely purchase this again.

The Alvin Spin-O-Tray for graphic artists and crafters had a lightweight rotation feature that when the tray becomes heavy fails. Shame on Alvin...mine was always lopsided and just plain awful. So I carefully removed the rotator that Alvin provided and this SAMYO 10 inch Rotator fit exactly underneath the Spin-O-Tray. Makes the Alvin very solid and sturdy and balanced with heavy items in it. I attached SAMYO to Alvin with 3m double sided foam tape and added rubber feet to the bottom of the SAMYO rotator to keep it from sliding. Alvin Spin-O-Trays are available here on Amazon. Very happy with the whole thing. Extremely handy for my use.

This is, indeed, heavy duty, at least for household use. I have an iMac sitting on it and it swivels very easily and smoothly. The base is the same size as the swivel platform, which makes it sit solidly on a table or desk without raising the height. Just be sure that you understand the relative sizes of these; this small one is only 8 inches across. I have a larger version with another monitor on it and I didn't realize how small this one was. Measure exactly what you'll be putting on it and how you will use it before ordering. Highly recommended.

Put my electric die cutting machine on it. The machine is a bit heavy but spins with ease on the turnstile. Work’s really great for this application. I am very happy with my purchase!

I received this 6 days earlier than the estimated date of arrival in perfect condition. As shown in the photograph, I am using it under a plant tower. The plants all prefer filtered light and therefore the tower is a fair distance from the window which necessitates frequent turning to maintain healthy plants and even growth. This turn table fulfills this need superbly. Seem solid, turns easily and as you can see is thin enough as to not be obtrusive. I'm ordering a couple more for some larger plants that are at present rather too much for me to turn for the sun and for pruning.I would highly recommend this product.

Wanted to set medium sized motorcycle parts on it for cleaning. As soon as I opened it I knew that was out of the question. I ended up using it for my various spray cans and so forth. A real space saver actually. Especially if you have multiple can with the little red tube attached. Point all of them towards the center and it works great for quickly finding what you need. I don't know that I would have bought it just for that. But it is what it is. I'll probably just end getting a heavy duty bare swivel only and finding my own material to make the base and work surface out of.
