Anything and Everything You Ever Wanted Answered About Your Faith in God
We used to own the 1994 version...and loaned it out, only to never get it back. This could be what one would consider very "heavy" or technical reading to explain what my heading says, but it's not. It is in simple, easy to understand language and I believe that's due to its revisions. This book has various contributing authors, which takes away any "boredom" (if one were to think of it being that way, due to the title of the book), that explains their particular specialty of study, complete with Biblical, historical and archaeological proof in each instance, if need be. The authors address all the viewpoints, in all the "flaws" that mankind finds "wrong" with the Bible as it relates to man...then proves that it is MAN who is in error...not God.Well worth the cost and time to read. There are approximately 20 authors and 18 chapters with over 600 pages.

a classic pentecostal systematic theology
Pentecostal writings are few and far between. Most books written by ppl calling themselves Pentecostals are heretics. This book along with Myer pearlman's knowing the doctrines of the bible are 2 classic works on doctrine and systematic theology. Highly recommended. I bought the eBook of Horton's systematic theology and a paperback from church of Myer pearlman's knowing the doctrines of the bible and I use both in my studies. These are both must haves for anyone who wants to know good sound biblical doctrines. But if I could only have one I'd not know which one to pick. An excellent timeless work by a good theologian. If more TV preachers read this book there wouldn't be so much heresy and false doctrine floating around. Can't recommend it enough.

Important to know
Stanley Horton brings academic discipline to explaining the Biblical truths Pentecostals believe in. What's the difference between glossalalia and xenolalia, and why are they important to the Pentecostal movement? Read and find out.
