Bought two copies. One for me and one for a friend. Great book for feminists of all ages and all places.

Save your money! This was selected as the read for December in our monthly book club. I don’t think any of us enjoyed it and some put it down without finishing it. If you want to read tales of periods (stained knickers) pregnancies (birth horror stories) and a short epitaph on the menopause then go for it. Oh yes, add in a Somali FGM perspective and it might jut be the book for you. What utter twaddle!

Such an interesting composition of stories. I've told my husband to put it on his reading list and he's going to. We had some great conversations around the stories in this book. Even the ones that are far removed from my own situation are somehow relatable.

EVERYONE should read this book at least once.

Such a great book. Easy to pick up. Hard to put down. A super interesting selection of stories. Every woman and man should read this section of short tales of critical moments of peoples lives.

I flew through this book, super informative and interesting. Well written, couldn't put it down.
