Had to replace after 12 months - dont buy it
I installed this a year ago but have had to replace it as oil was still leaking. I decided to get an Elring gasket from euro car parts (surely more reliable than amazon but I was too lazy to drive to the store last time) when I compared the Elring to this gasket I noticed that it was taller and slightly thicker! Whilst this gasket looks like it fits when you first install it you will get an oil leak in about a year as it's shorter and thinner.Buy cheap, fit twice I guess.

Had an oil leak and a smell of burnt oil when driving.As you can see there was quite alot coming out and the old gasket was pretty bad. So glad i got this changed. Fitted to my '98 bmw 328i e46 with over 100k miles.Its pretty thick so shouldn't really need it but I also used some RTV sealant from amazon that worked well. Im not trained or qualified but Its not hard to do this job yourself if you want to save money.Last note, installed about 2 weeks ago and the car is still running fine, no more burnt oil smell!

Seems to be sealing fine so far ...
Just fitted this to my 2001 330i. I used red RTV sealant sparingly on the vanos and rear half moon corners and the metal join at the start of the long sides. NOTE this gasket will look like it's a few mm too tall for the valve cover to seat properly but it does actually compress once you've evenly and gradually tightened all the bolts down. Two weeks later and no sign of any further oil seepage.

Does not fit M52b25
Didn’t fit the rocker cover of my m52b25 out of my e36 323i, everything else fit fine. Little disappointed as it said it’d fit the m52.

Started leaking after 10 month
This gasket is not OEM quality. I had to replace it after only 19 month as it started leaking.I bought an original Part from BMW as replacement.
