Not prone to breaking, cuts great
I bought this for a 80 inch 2-wheel bandsaw that was breaking blades, and I wanted something to cut fast through thick wood. Especially resawing. So I chose the 3 TPI hook tooth. I can't recall now why I chose hook tooth, but you should take 10 minutes and learn about the tooth shape and choose one that works best for your application.I always release tension after use, which I think is key for longevity. It has lasted several years, which is far better than the other ones I had been trying. I think for resawing, as big a blade as your tool can use is a good choice. You need to dress the wood's face after cutting anyway, so more TPI makes no difference to me--cuts faster and generates less heat, even though it can't do tight curves as well. When this breaks, I will buy another one for sure. Great buy and highly recommended.

Works great
Bought this for my 30+ year old craftsman bandsaw to rip through black walnut that is up to 5” thick. Worked like a charm. This blade seems to be very strong and durable. So far…so good.

Excellent blade for the money. Good value.
Olson Saw FB23180DB 1/2 by 0.025 by 80-Inch HEFB Band 3 TPI Hook Saw Blade (Pictures to come)Summary:Great blade at a good price (about $10 at time of review). Suitable for homeowners to semi-pros.Discussion:Purchased this to resaw maple and for general shop use. It performed like a pro on a saw which was used professionally at a sailboat repair business before I owned it. I was able to resaw over 7” spalted maple with relatively straight lines and clean cuts.Pros:-Affordable price-Sharp-StableCons:-Not as good as a true high end bladeTest materials-Medium-to-hard woods:-Tested up to ~7” thick (saw’s capacity)-Some blade wander especially at start of cut-Unable to resaw 7” thick lumber without too much blade wander-Plywood-Tested up to ~¾” with minimal blade wonder noted. Cuts fast and clean.-Softwoods: -Tested fir and pine ¾” (true) which it cut clean and fast-Very-soft wood:-Tested well-aged/spalted maple for resaw capacity up to around 7 1/4”. Experienced minimal blade wonder even with thick lumber. Cuts were clean and unburnt. Cutting speed was significantly faster than I expected considering the saw’s HP.Test Saw:Craftsman 12-inch 1 HP (“derived”) with freshly reset guides and tensioned to manufacturer's specs (Note: with a good blade, I’ve resawn wood up to ~ 7 ¼” without difficulty on this saw).

Just lazy - now I'll probably try to cut something too fine with this one
Runs well and true. Rips as wewll as cross cuts. Should have switched to this one sooner on a project where the 1/2 inch width would have prevented a break in the smaller blade. Just lazy - now I'll probably try to cut something too fine with this one!

The Blade is sharp, and performs very well, and lasts through many cuts.

Great for resawing
I use this blade for resawing stock on my Craftsman 12" bandsaw. Makes quick work out of even dense hardwoods like jatoba.

This blade is a beast.
This blade does a good job resawing hardwood on my old underpowered Craftsman bandsaw. It leaves a rough surface because it's only 3 tpi but is amazingly fast and accurate. Quality seems great so far.

Good product
These are quality bandsaw blades. They are exactly as described by the seller. Cutting normal density wood and MDF they have lasted as long as any competitor. I would definitely recommend this product

Works well.
Fits my craftsman 12” tilting head saw nicely and cuts well. I re-sawed a 12”x 6” cedar beam 4’ long without a problem.
