Games Workshop Dark Eldar: Venom (2011)

The package arrived on time and in excellent shape. Paid a decent price compared to other stores' prices for the same kit. The product comes with one Dark Eldar Venom gunship, a gunner, two passengers, a pilot, and some extra bits for customization. As the box shows, the crew is made to resemble Wyches, so if you want to make them look like Kabal or Coven forces, you'll have to do a bit of conversion work. Would definitely buy again.

Awesome model. Was easy to assemble, fun to paint, and quite powerful in 8th edition.

I gave this to my son so I don't really know the condition of the shipment other than he said he loves it.

I have 9 Venom's now and they are the second best piece of the Dark Eldar arsenal. They are super fun and shocking to people who have never played DE.

The Dark Eldar are an army that relies on speed, firepower, and close combat lethality at the expense of armor. Nothing emphasizes this philosophy more than the Venom. Venoms are fast skimmers, 'armored' to protect their passengers while they deliver them into position. They have a few weapons, but if you want a gunboat, go wth a Raider or Ravager.A Venom can transport 5 infantry, I exclusively use them to transport Kabbalite Trueborn, elite infantry with ridiculous firepower. For regular squads, I use the Raider which is slightly tougher and has a bit more gun.The model itself is really freaking cool, though somewhat fragile as all Dark Eldar models are.
