Great book series!
I've purchased the entire series of these books for my grandkids. They fill in a lot of gaps when it comes to the history lessons being taught in grade school, and the kids really enjoy them. I'd say the perfect age is probably 5th-6th grade but I have a 3rd grader reading them, too. There are many more books about men than women but they provide a lot of info for kids. Definitely worth the money. I starting giving one or two for each birthday or holiday until they had the entire set.

Love This Series
I love this series. The books are very informative and kept my child's attention so much that they read the book themselves after we had read it together.

Great role model
I had read this book. I like Eleanor Roosevelt. She was an great person who helped out everyone. She outlived her uncle Teddy and husband Franklin. (Sorry if that is a spoiler). I had known about that before reading this book.
