My usecase: I bought this pump to use for weekly water change in a 180 litre aquarium. I usually do a 20% water replacement. Doing it manually is a big pain, hence decided to go with this pump instead. I wasn't sure whether to get a 18w or the 40w pump since there are hardly any reviews mentioning the prospects of using it for aquarium water replacement. I ended up buying the 40w as I wanted to lift the water more than 6 feet. In my current setup, I have increased the length of the power cord by 6 feet (9 feet total) and using a pipe of length 10 feet length to fill the water in to the aquarium. It works extremely well, it can fill 20% of the tank in less than 5 minutes. The good: This is a small, nice , powerful motor that does the job. The water flow is good. The motor is very silent when in use. It's been 2 weeks so can't comment on the durability yet. The bad: The product information mentions that the power cord is about 3 feet long, it's exactly that but I wish it was longer than 3 feet as 40w will be used for different purposes than the 18w. I had to extend the power cord as the length was insufficient. Normally it's not an issue but since the pump is submersed in water, you have to be extremely careful everytime you use the pump. I am also not sure what the problem is in adding a 2 pin plug point instead of making us run to the shop to buy one and fix ourselves. Adding a longer power cord along with the plug point would be a great addition to this.

the water flow, quality of the product is very good. but the only drawback is that when it starts to pull out the water from a tank or container then it will not stop even if the power is turned off. the motor will flush out all the water from the container and then only will stop. This should have a mechanism to stop the water flow once the power is turned off. for me i will not be using this motor for now as its of no use for me.

I purchased the ELOVE Submersible Water Pump from Amazon.in on 29th April 2024, expecting a durable and reliable product. Unfortunately, the pump stopped working on 29th June 2024, just two months after purchase. The return window on Amazon had closed, so I reached out to Amazon Customer Care for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that they couldn't provide a replacement and advised me to contact the seller directly, providing me with the seller's contact details. Here is where the real frustration began. When I contacted the seller's customer service, the representative initially told me they couldn't issue a replacement without discussing it with their senior, who was out of station at the time. They asked for 24 hours to get back to me. Understanding their situation, I agreed and waited patiently. After 24 hours, I called again, only to be told that the senior was still out of station and they needed another 24 hours. Reluctantly, I agreed once more. This cycle repeated for three days, with no resolution in sight. On the third day, after much back-and-forth, I was finally informed that they would not replace the product because it was without warranty and had only a 7-day return window. To add to the frustration, the quality of the wire on this pump is extremely poor. There is a significant design flaw where the wire is prone to breaking or getting cut easily. This poor quality and design make the pump unreliable and unsafe to use. This entire experience was not only incredibly frustrating but also a colossal waste of time. The lack of clear communication and responsibility from both Amazon and the seller is unacceptable. I feel misled and extremely disappointed with the service. I urge potential buyers to think twice before purchasing this product. The ELOVE Submersible Water Pump may seem like a good deal, but the lack of durability, poor wire quality, and design flaws, combined with poor customer service, make it a regrettable purchase. I hope Amazon and the seller take note of this feedback and improve their customer service policies to prevent such unpleasant experiences in the future.

I purchased this product more than year ago it works without any problem.. it pump a water more than 5 feet. Water flow good and speed of filling water drum within a minute off 1000litter drum. Suggestions for new buyers Must use a moter under water only without water don't run a motor, use a proper pipe or tube without any leakage.. Really value for money but little disappointed wire length is low and don't gave any holder to plug we buy extra wire Holder to connect a motor to run.. Pump level good Water flow good Speed of filling also good Quality good.. Dust blocker need strong.. Works with high-level water under pressure.. Decent price... Highly Recommended to buy
